A must have if you buy a King antennae
I used this to cover the hole from my old crank up antennae. I mounted the King Omnidirectional antennae. (Black) The fit is good and they give you the fasteners to mount the antennae to it. You through bolt the antennae to it. Be aware that you must first install the antennae wire to the antennae through the slot that is in the antennae base. Apply the sealant to fill the slot and then all around the base of the antennae. This is the messy part. I had the antennae upside down to do this. Put the fasteners through the holes and put on the nuts. tighten down with a Phillips screwdriver and small crescent wrench. You have to drill the holes in the plate to mount this to the roof first. I put holes in the corners and then two on each side. I used stainless spax screws #6 by 3/4 to fasten this all down after applying sealant to the base of the plate all around. Screw it down, clean it up and then finish with a tube of lap seal to cover all the edges of the antennae and the plate. Apply lap seal to all fasteners. Nice job and very sturdy.

Made mounting much easier
We didn't want to drill new holes in our fiberglass roof, so we used a 3M epoxy type tape and then dicored it down. Worked like a charm. This plate covered the old holes well.

The base of operations - so - so
Misleading that it will cover all roof holes from old antenna install. Had to add a 3 in by 12 in metal plate at rear to cover all holes. A sheet metal plate for about $3.00 would have done the job. Quality seems good. Measure your needed plate and exact hole locations before you buy.

Great antenna
Replaced an old batwing antenna with this. Picked up 35 channels, more than I ever did with the old one. If you’re going to DIY, watch the youtube videos (there are several) on how to do the installation. It will probable take longer to remove the old antenna and caulking than to install the new one. Also recommend getting the adapter plate so it covers all the old holes

Mount will work but not well for all installations
If you are replacing an antenna where the cable comes up through the roof (usually a factory install) as opposed to running across the roof - this mount will be problematic. I could have made it work by cutting out the plastic around the hole which allows the Jack turning knob to pass into the cabin of the coach. The signal meter which is part of the King Jack (OA8500) that I bought has a cable that passes through the off center hole in the plate - could not pass the coaxial for the boost through the same hole. Also would be impossible to mount the plate first without connecting the coax first. This makes it difficult to seal properly due to limited space between the roof and the base plate of my antenna. Running your coax across the roof and through the roof...I see no problem. I returned and closed old mounting holes with my own process.

A must for installing antenna
Very nicely made. A must for covering area for new antenna replacement.

After I had removed the old antenna and cleaned up the sealer on the roof I laid the mounting plate on the roof in the install position. I then outlined it with a sharpy pen on the roof. That made it very simple to put the sealer on the roof just inside of the line and it also lined the hole in the roof to put the cable in. I then installed the antenna on the roof plate , put a heavy bead of sealer on the roof just inside the outline and mounted the plate to the roof with self drilling screws. When every thing was screwed down tight I then run another bead of sealer around the plate and screws.
