I had a Rowenta that was a more expensive model and I didn't realize the importance of those features until I purchased the DW5080. The control dial is very susceptible to rotation when you're inserting you hand around the handle. You can, almost imperceptibly, move the dial all the way up and put your expensive clothes at risk. I purchased the "darker" iron so I'm not sure if this applies uniformly, but the water reservoir is very dark and it is IMPOSSIBLE to see the water level. VERY FRUSTRATING having to guess!
