Heartland Valley M0513 Single Light Replacement Cord for Porcelain, 6'

These are a great buy at this price! They're pretty much impossible to find at stores here in Canada and they want an arm and a leg for them when I can find them . So I was really happy to find them here. Even with the shipping costs they are still a bargain. I wanted them for in Japanese paper lanterns and they work great. The bulbs don't get very warm, so I'm not too concerned about that warning that other people have mentioned about them being for seasonal or short-term use. They seem well made, and I imagine that warning is intended to protect the manufacturer from liability, and it's up to the consumer to exercise some common sense when using them. Of course, if I set off the sprinkler system in this building with them, I will be back to update this review.

Needed a new light for a miniature house in a Christmas scene and this did the trick. Can certainly find it cheaper at a big box retailer, but I was lazy and didn't want to go out to get it. The hardest part was figuring out what this particular cord was called.Works great, nice long cord and I didn't even pay attention to the fact it came with a bulb. Nice plus!

I had several village buildings where the cords didn't work anymore, and couldn't find any locally for the last few years. I would tell my grandkids that those people were sleeping----or those stores were closed! These were very reasonable, and they work perfectly, as expected. Delivery was prompt, too. No complaints at all.

I helped clean out a family friend's home and got to keep one thing. I saw this little ceramic owl tealight cover from the 70's that I absolutely fell in love with. I painted it turquoise and decided to make a night light out of it. This cord came in handy and I now have a lovely little turquoise owl night light. The price and quality of the cord and bulb were great. I was very impressed that it all arrived in one piece. Love it!!!

These single light replacement cords work great in the buildings of our Department-56 Dickens Village. We had no problems with the bulb fitting inside the buildings' holder area, and the length of the cord made it easy to connect with our village's extension cord. Heartland Valley did an excellent job packaging the product and quickly shipping our order. With the holidays fast approaching, our entire village once again looks like Christmas on a cold winter night.

Does not fit my Dept 56 houses. But I was able to get it to go in just enough so that it still worked for them. Shipped very well insulated and came with the bulbs in them which i was very surprised and pleased by. Seemed good quality and bright.

I bought this replacement light for a ceramic lighthouse I bought on the Oregon Coast. I assumed all cords of this kind (where the little nite light goes inside the ceramic and a clamp keeps it in there) were standard but apparently not. Now with the holidays I thought I'd set up the lighthouse only to discover this cord is too big and won't go into the hole. It would help if there had been measurements, like size of hole, on the box before I ordered it.

Bought 4. 3 of them seemed to work ok. One had an intermittent connection that essentially rendered it useless. A reasonably decent and cheap way to light up Xmas and Halloween displays if the original cord has been lost or damaged. The clips are kinda cheap and you have to be careful with them. But they will work as long as you are not overly ham-handed with them. Basically you are getting what you pay for. Cheap price, cheap product that works ok but has some flaws.
