Pelle D'annata Ladies Real Leather Black Brown Biker Jacket Size 8 to 18

I'll start off by saying that this review is coming from the perspective of someone who rides a motorcycle and has several high quality leather riding jackets. I did not buy this jacket for that purpose, but because I was looking for something to wear casually and still carry my style without having to wear my bulkier, heavier jackets. I'll start with shipping: it got here in 5 days from across the pond. Bonus points for prompt processing and delivery! On to the jacket... Out of the box it is pretty nice. Very light with heavy duty, very stylish zippers. I wont lie, there is a smell from the dye they use (I ordered the black) but I feel that once it airs out a little, it will be a normal smelling leather jacket. Fit: I read the reviews and was on the fence. Normally I'm a size large with a 38C bust, 34 inch waist and 40 inch hips. Reviewers were saying to size up so I ordered the 16. It fits kinda big but the sleeve length is good and it doesnt look bulky so I'm probably going to keep it just because I dont want to deal with a international exchange. It sits right on my shoulders and still has a nice, fitted look so I'm not too stressed. Quality: Many folks were saying this jacket is flimsy and that the liner is poorly stitched into the leather. The seams are very tightly sewn together and theres a full stitch throughout the entirety of the liner. The polyester material itself is thin and it might tear under moderate circumstances, but I don't see where this is in any way inferior to higher priced jackets on the market. The zippers are a very durable, very functional and very nice accents to this jacket. I've had no problems with binding or snagging but YKK zippers are the best. I should also add that the pockets are functional. I could easily fit my cards in one pocket and also fit my phone in the other. The breast pockets are also functional, although I should warn that items that dont fit flush in the pockets may print on the outside. There is also an internal pocket that could hold a smartphone. Someone mentioned that the pockets were for aesthetics only, and I would say they are not. Fully functional but still aesthetically pleasing. I've got some jackets where the pockets are stitched closed and meant for looks. This is not the case here. The leather itself is akin to about a 1mm cowhide that you'd see in a casual wear jacket. I dont know what the leather source is for this jacket but it's not shabby. It's not stiff by any means. I wouldn't wear this as protective gear on a bike, but it would definitely be on par with a heavy sweatshirt in how well it would withstand a slide. What this translates to for you non-riders is that the leather quality is decent enough to make this jacket hold up well over time, over social scrutiny, and over the return of your investment. Its light enough to wear in late winter/early spring but you could easily layer under it and still have it flatter your form if you decided to size up. Lots of room in the armpits so you dont have to worry about it pinching. It's well made for those of us with broader shoulders but it doesnt make your upper half look like a football player. In closing, I'd only add that this jacket has a very tasteful and very stylish design that would pair well with a variety of styles. No fringe here, folks! I'd buy it again.

Originally I got size 12 UK US8 but it was big to the point I could layer with a thin padded jacket underneath. So I’ve returned it for a size 10 UK US 6. I wear 4 in US for most brands, bra size 36C or 89cm wearing bra and a T-shirt. According to the size chart I should get a 8UK US 4 but I went one size up and it’s nice. The seller send me an email when I decided to return it with these measures: size UK 8 /US 4 - Bust/chest -89cm Waist - 80cm Size UK10/US 6 - Bust/chest - 94cm Waist -85cm Size UK 12/US 8- Bust /chest - 99cm Waist 90cm I recommend measure yourself wearing whatever you would wear underneath and then go 1 size up from that. For me I have bust 89 exactly like size 4 US so I went a size up and it closes the zipper with no struggle but it’s nice and not loose. If you have a big belly or you plan to layer with thick clothes than go 2 sizes up. If you have big bust and small waist it’s gonna be big on the waist. The cut is not snug on the waist. The difference between sizes is 5cm and I was afraid size 6 US would be big too, but is a significant difference from one size to the other. About double from US brands. I wear it with a button up shirt and cardigan underneath and had to problems pinching my cardigan with the zipper. I can’t wear a thick sweater underneath unless the sweater is snug. I don’t wear leather on cold winters so for me 1 size up was enough. It’s not snug neither loose. Just right!

Not the best quality leather, but that’s to be expected as the price point. The jacket was pretty stiff but it has relaxed and become quite comfortable over time. The jacket has an extremely strong chemical odor and it takes quite a long time to sort out. If you can handle that though, the jacket is good for the price.

I love this coat, it came in a timely fashion and it fits like a dream. I was worried it would be to big or to small, but as I have gained 30#'s in the last year I though I should size up, and I am glad I did. I could fit a sweatshirt underneath and be comfortable, but also wear a nice blouse and it feels great. Nice and warm even though there is no warm liner.

I’m a size Small/us6 in Women’s and wanted a little more room in this jacket so I ordered the us8/UK12. The us8/UK12 FIT LIKE A us8. I thought this us8 was going to give me the room that I wanted but I could have gone higher to a us10, so that it fits like an us8. The chest and underarm areas are perfect, not too tight, not too spacious, but the torso of the jacket comes in and gets a little smaller. This is why I’m having a hard time deciding whether I should keep it or buy another size. Even with this, there’s a little space. This is why I’m having a hard time deciding whether I should keep it or buy another size. This size would be perfect for you if you will be weraring t-shirts and thin long sleeved sweaters. This size with a thick sweater won’t work, which is what I bought it for. I don’t want the headache of returning merchandise to London for an exchange. The jacket looks cheap and flimsy, but I had it on for about 30mins with a scarf and it kept me very very warm. The zippers are smooth and the pockets are a decent size. The only inside pocket is roomy and you’ll find one extra button with the snap just in case you need to repair it. The leather will stretch with usage which may then give me the exact fit I wanted. **AFTER MY TRIP I WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW**

Way better than I expected!! I was wary but it came and was buttery soft with nice shape and did not smell bad like some mail order leather can. My daughter loved it. I bought her a "12" and she is an average 5'4' and wears 4 or small tops. Athletic toned but not lifter muscular. I am also 5'4" and 140# with more muscular shoulders and arms size 6 or Med. and the 12 still fit me but layed different. Looked perfect on the kid! Thinner leather, however, a good thickness for layering and probably will break in beautifully.

The worth item ever. Awefull quality, smells and does not look and feel like leather at all. Do not believe what you read. Sending back same moment I have received it.

This jacket looked great and I was really excited about it when it arrived at my door. Jacket was the perfect size and was really cute too. However, once I put it on, I noticed that the seams in the armpit has slip, probably because the lining used for the jacket is ridiculously flimsy and not well sewn. But I suppose you get what you pay for. Will be looking for a higher quality jacket as I want whatever I buy to last. That said, if you just want a cute looking leather jacket and don't care if the seams of the lining splits, this is a great deal!

The leather is really soft. Very comfortable to wear and i like that the sleeves are not tight so able to wear a jumper underneath. Good fit and true to size.love it

Absolutely stunning, high quality Italian leather for an amazing price, fits like it was custom made! I wish I could buy it in every colour.
