The length of the hose is ideal, and makes very easy use
I very much like this design it’s easier to work with with the length of the hose that comes with this adapter. I like it so much it actually replaced my old adapter.I have found out for maximum capacity put your empty propane bottle in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, connect the adapter and then purge for a second to get the air out of the line.

Relief valve
Needs to be some sort of relief valve in order to fill 1 lb containers completely. Will only fill enough to last 1 1/2 hrs. Other than that it works great.

As soon as it touches green it’s full not deep in the green full mark or it like three lbs in a one lb canaster only reason for a 4 star

works excellent filling small tanks. I usually fill 6 at a time, when setup you don't have to mess with large tank till finished

Convenient
This past winter has been colder than normal, so I've brought my big buddy heater in the house to help. I usually keep it for the shed heat only. The longer line makes it much easier to keep it out of way for us and our 2 doberman.

NO MORE HIGH PRICE PROPANE
The little cannister are now an outrageous price. This works great for refilling. Just put the small cylinders in the freezer for a 1/2 hour, set the large cylinder in the sun. Put the big one on a higher surface and within a few minutes the small one is full. works great. Don't forget to buy some of the bras caps to put on the small cylinder when they are full.

Big money saver
Once I saw this, especially with the gauge in the right spot, I had to buy it. It's too expensive always buying a new 1lbs bottle when there $10-$15/bottle. Costco was about $10 last time I filled a 20lbs bottle.Follow the directions of freezing 1lbs bottle for 30 min or more. I didn't put my 20lbs bottle in the sun and it seemed to work good.Only problem I have is, what to do with the remaining propane in the hose??? I just discharged it outside, which seemed to be a nice amount. Might just buy a 20lbs bottle just for filling 1lbs bottles.
