It works. If you’re consistent with it.
I wasn’t really having hair loss, more just thinning of the hair (this starts to happen in your 40s 🫤) I bought the three month supply and by the third bottle, I am extremely happy with results. Just the small amount of new growth has given me much more volume. And the parts on my scalp that looked thinning no longer look thinning. I am very surprised and very pleased with the results! I have read that it takes up to six months to see the results, and I am extremely excited to see that! I have already seen results with just the three month.

Works Wonders for Thinning Hair!
This 2% Rogaine solution is a game-changer. After 3 months of consistent use, her hair is noticeably thicker and fuller, especially around the crown and part line. No scent, easy to apply, no greasy residue. Regrowth is real—highly recommend for women dealing with thinning.

So far so good.
My wife has been using Rogaine for a couple of months now. So far, we haven’t seen any new hair regrowth, but it does seem to be helping prevent further thinning. The application is very easy—you just apply it and gently rub it into the scalp. We were hoping to see some regrowth in the thinner areas, so we’ll continue using it and see how it progresses over time.

Give it a fair chance (with update @ 6 months)
I've been using this for about a month and just ordered another box to keep as backup. I had no magical expectations of this product. I knew going in, that anything I used to try and regrow my thinning hair would take time and a commitment to use as directed. I already knew that I would need AT LEAST 2 boxes (3 bottles in each/6 months of treatment), before I could reasonably expect to see results. I can't really say if it does or doesn't work before that. So I will update at that time, I just had to address those who are stating that it doesn't work in contradiction to statements that are clearly stated on the box/in the leaflet. Yes it is the viscosity of water making it run, that is why I put in minute amounts at a time and make sure to massage it to as large of an area as I can with each application. I focus on a different area each time. It does seem like it's not even an amount that could make a difference. I read the entire leaflet and saw that during the testing trials, the same results were had whether you used 1ml twice a day (recommended) or tried to speed up the process by using more than that. I'm glad I read that, otherwise I would have finished the whole thing in the first week. I saw a few reviews saying it didn't work after only using it a month or so. It does say that the hair growth will come at the same rate of your current hair growth. It also says there will be a "shedding" period of sorts several weeks into treatment that will cause more hair loss right before the product really begins to start working. With all of this in mind, I have reasonable expectations. For me, I can honestly attest to the fact that I have a tingling, almost crawling sensation on different parts of my head after 1 month's use. My head does itch at times, but it's nothing unbearable, and I feel like it's due to the new hair growth/stimulated follicles. There have been times when I've forgotten an application. I keep reminding myself that it's only my results that will be hurt which gives me the drive to keep with it twice a day. I know the 6-months-from-now version of me will thank (present-day) me abundantly for giving it the old college try. I will give it at least 6 months, possibly 9 before officially saying whether it's not worth it (for me). Also to give myself the best chance, I am taking a multivitamin specifically for hair, skin, and nails with B complex and biotin. I've also made my diet more focused on lean proteins and dark leafy greens to give myself the best chance. I can't be a balding woman at my age, it's not fair and I will fight for it! UPDATE: I'm at the 6-month mark and I can definitely say that I have new hair growth. It's most noticeable at the hairline where there is visible short hair growing out. It is the same color and texture as my own natural hair. While I do still have the general thinning all over, I've had close friends let me know that they can see short hairs growing out of the top of my head while my hair is pulled back in a ponytail. I believe that if I continue with my "regimen" of increased protein, iron, vitamin C (to help with iron absorption), biotin, B12 and other minerals specifically for hair growth I should continue to see positive changes. Also, to be honest, while I was using Rogaine twice daily for the first few months, more recently I've slacked off a lot and have even gone several days in-between treatments. I usually try to remember to at least either take the vitamin, eat a a high-nutrient meal or use Rogaine every day.

It works!
I was hesitant of using this after reading all the reviews. First it may not work for everyone! Per the written instructions not recommended to use on any bold spot’s. When my husband tells me and my Dr say yeah I see thinning hair on top/front. My Dr recommended Rogaine try it for 3 months. So I did, started this 3-4 months ago and I see a difference already and so as my husband. When I apply a drop , I tilt my head back, put my left hand like a visor to prevent any liquid running to ur face or eyes! I used a hair brush after to wake/message my scalp. So far it’s been working for me and will continue to do so. Caution I have read u grow hair on areas you don’t want maybe true. Only hair growth I seen around my receding hair line. I would still be careful though using my technique above.

Does have it's benefits for some, I think
I've used Rogaine on and off for years now. My latest trial with it lasted for maybe the last 3-4 years. I used it faithfully, twice a day. Here's what I noticed......for me, I think it did do something. It did NOT stop my hair loss. Not once, over all of my trials with this stuff, did my hair loss ever stop. Ever. It seemed to fill in my temple areas somewhat, but really, what I think it did most of all, was thicken the hairs on my head. My hair continued to thin, slowly, every day, but the hairs left on my head seemed thicker. So...it looked like I had more hair, while my hair continued to slowly thin, if that makes sense. I grew tired of putting this on my head every day, though, and didn't feel like the benefit was worth it to me. I worried about the chemicals in the product, and did notice that the hair on my arms seems darker and thicker. At the end of August, I was diagnosed with Lupus....finally, an answer to all of my symptoms, one of which being hair loss. So, I quit using Rogaine. Now, three months later, my hair is shedding like mad.....probably the hairs that Rogaine was helping me hang on to, but who knows really...it could be the medicines I'm on. Anyway, I wanted to give a little info to anyone out there thinking about trying it.

It works but you must give it time
I bought the product from my husbands Amazon account- but rest assured- this is a woman writing a review for a woman's product! It took a little over 4 months to see new hair growth. Hang in there. If you are debating about trying this- buy 2 boxes of a 3 month supply rather than one box of one month. Commit to the six bottles. If after six bottles nothing happens you will know your hair loss is due to some other situation that Rogain can not address. But if it does work for you- it will be something you have to continue to apply indefinitely to keep the hair follicles strong. You will waste money buying only one box and giving up. You must apply every day twice a day for at least 3 months. I put it on when I wake up and before i go to bed. It gives my hair a texture that was not too problematic except that it requires more frequent washing- I know personally that if you are losing hair it is distressing and you may be tempted to become delicate with your hair- but I decided to not be bullied. When I apply this- I rub it into the scalp vigorously and let my hair know that I want it to be strong and durable. If it is going to fall out I'd rather get it over with than try to tip toe around the inevitable. But I am VERY happy to say that my head is now sprouting lots of new little strands of hair. They stick straight up and are only noticeable up close but hair gel handles that. But I love, love, love the little sprouts!! And am so glad to see my hair growing back. It is a reasonably priced product considering it is now very valuable to me. Other alternatives for hair loss like weaves or medical implants cost thousands of dollars yearly. This is a fraction of that cost and should be tried first. I hope this product works for you!

Warning! Made me very sick after only 1 day!
I did read the reviews prior to purchasing and saw that some people experienced bad side effects. However my already thin and fine hair has been thinning significantly more lately. I am 32 and seeing my scalp throughout most of my head has been really devastating. I just was desperate and figured I’d just stop using it if it caused side effects. I wasn’t prepared for the severity of side effects after only 1 application though! It didn’t actually irritate my scalp right away so I first thought everything was good. It did tingle just a bit and felt very toxic and “chemically” though. I guess I had expected it to be soothing and nourishing since it is supposed to promote hair growth. Within only an hour or so after use I began to feel nauseous, dizzy, extreme fatigue, chills, cold sweats, confusion, chest pain, shortness of breath, and numbness throughout my body. I used the recommended amount and applied it around 2pm. By the time I went to bed I was feeling awful. I woke up and my scalp burned as well as my shoulders, neck, back, and parts of my face which I can only assume was from some of the product transferring to these areas in my sleep. It’s been 24 hours since I’ve discontinued use and I am still not feeling 100%, my scalp still burns. I see that this works really well for some people and that’s great, however I was not one of those people. I am not even generally sensitive to chemicals or hair treatments/products. One of the bottles was also leaking when it arrived so luckily Amazon did refund me because of that. I should have just bit the bullet and spent the money on the new vegan product instead of resorting to chemicals. That will be what I try next. **************** Update: I have been using Vegamour for the past year and the results have been amazing! It’s a bit pricy but sooo worth it!! It is nourishing and soothing and my hair has grown so quickly! No more bald spots! My hair is full and healthy and I am amazed to say it’s really beautiful! It’s even grown in with a really nice natural wave. I am not posting any links and gain nothing by sharing this with you. Just wanted to inform other women who went through what I did, that there is a healthy natural alternative that actually really works!
