Its average but good to use. Its expensive pen when orginal brought.But for education,temporary use ie short term use its ok. I brought this for my daughter studing architect. Met her temporary requirement.

The penss are smooth !But de ink does't have the consistency like the original Rotring black ink ! After the drawing is completed the ink smedged while I applied a coating of picture varnish on top ! I got disappointed!

Blotting the paper, other brands rotring pens are better.
