Perfect Match!
This laptop ROCKs! I'm moving from an AORUS 7V2 and am really impressed with the visible upgrade in performance. The FHD screen driven by the GTX1060 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) is sharp and crisp with 1080 native at 120hz and functional G-SYNC. The keyboard is a huge improvement over the AORUS. The same goes for the Sound Blaster speakers, audio card, and Killer DoubleProShot NIC/Wireless card. This rig has an i7700k CPU (Central Processing Unit) that is mounted via a LGA1151 socket on the motherboard. Yes, that is a desktop CPU!!! Who cares? Most laptops have their CPUs and GPUs soldered directly onto the motherboard. If one of the components fail you have a fancy boat-anchor. I run virtualization software and require as much RAM (Random Access Memory) as possible. The EON 15-X has 4 slots for DDR4 260 pin RAM cards. Lets see, that is 64 GB of RAM possible. Most laptops only have two slots or solder their RAM onto the motherboard to save room (no upgrades). RAM is easy to upgrade and replacement with the right RAM does not void the warranty. Please contact Origin for the real facts. Yep, I'm going to love working on this laptop ;-) So what about the cooling fans and noise they produce? So far, much better than the AORUS. I have the 4-core CPU clocked at 4.5 GHZ and it is as quiet as a church mouse. The CPU also runs cooler with five heat-pipes carrying away the heat from the CPU and GPU. Origin has real American support personnel located in Miami, FL. They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their products. These laptop may use foreign components but are assembled and supported right here in the US of A. Ever hear of Alienware? Guess who started that brand before Dell bought them out?

High performance and could comfortably replace a heater
It's a bit expensive compare to desktop but for a laptop, the price is pretty fair. Performance is standard. Good for gamers who aren't looking ultra gaming experience. One thing worth mentioning is that the ventilation is at the back of the laptop, so when playing at a cold night, you can press fn + 1 key to turn on the fan, it produce heat towards the back, you don't need to turn on the heater cause the air ventilated are pretty warm. Using it on your lap allows the heat air flow to your feet which is quite warm at a cold night. However, the plug for charging isn't very secure, you need to locate it in secure location i.e a table. But overall recommended.
