So far, so good. (but not a quick and dirty solution)
Part appears virtually identical to OEM. Fit the blower on my 2013 Cayenne Diesel just fine. It is not a trivial thing to replace. Getting to the blower and removing it is a hassle - not techincally difficult, but a tight squeeze under the dash and uncomfortable working position too close to the screws to easily see what you are doing (at least if you need readers... ahem...) The swapping of the resistor was also straightforward enough, but instructions are few and far between. While it went perfectly, once you snap the last clip free it feels like everything is floating around - and like the motor brushes might just decide to liberate themselves while you are changing out that board. They did not. It's still discomfiting. But it's done! Certainly better value (and better for the landfill) than swapping out the whole blower unit!

Fixed my AC and saved a bunch of money!
I'm so glad this part is available! I was able to fix an intermittent HVAC fan in our Touareg by replacing the old blower motor resistor with this replacement. Replacing a cheap resistor sure beats paying for the entire blower motor. Installation was easy with the help of a few YouTube videos. Seems to be working great!

Works perfect on a 2011 Cayenne S
Car was suffering from random fan behavior. Followed videos available for install (look for the one that doesn't require removing vent and glove box and dash trim). Will report back if there is any change.

2012 VW Touareg TDI Sport
Had intermittent fan issues code: B10BE 12. Worked on my 2012 VW Touareg TDI Sport. Was able to install with a t15 bit, 1/4 in ratchet with small extension and a swivel adapter with a 5.5mm socket.

Works perfectly on my 2017 Volkswagen toureg
Was a little bit of a pain in the but removing everything since vw likes to make things harder than they need to be but after a few tutorial videos and a forum online I was able to do it no problem! Great option for the price since a whole new blower motor cost $400 from vw and $200 from auto part store!!

Worked for my 2014 Touareg
Blower stopped moving any air at all in my car and from what I read online it would likely be a bad resistor. Replacing it was relatively simple if you are a handy person. I’m guessing it took me an hour. Watch videos online for how to replace.

So far so good. Replaced this on my 2013 T-reg, blower wasn't working. It's not a quick fix. The whole glove box has to be removed, blower motor has to be taken apart. Videos on YouTube were very helpful. Hopefully it will last.

A Friends 2014 Touareg's blower fan was playing up...The fan was ok .. But it would only work sometimes. After a diagnostic OBD Scan ... I decided to replace the HVAC Blower Motor Resistor. System is now working very nicely again. :)

I was having issues with the fan motor cutting out at the highest three speeds in the vehicle. Did a little research and learned that I needed a new blower motor and resistor, which are sold as one part from Volkswagen. I was going to buy from rock auto for half the price of the Volkswagen part then I learned that I could replace just the resistor. Took under an hour and saved a lot of money. There are some helpful videos on YouTube.
