Yes. The medium fits my daughter in a 7/8 well

Q: Does this jacket run small? I need a 7/8 for a slim girl. Would a 6/7 be better or an 8/9?

I ordered a 6/7 for my (small) 7/8 girl. It fit fine for what we needed it for (Halloween), but the sleeves were almost too short. Like I said, it fit fine for one night, but I think she will grow out of it pretty quickly. She is about 4'3" tall-hope that helps a little!

Q: Is this jacket long sleeve or 3/4 length sleeve? All the sleeves are scrunched up in the photos so I’m not sure

It is long sleeve but I'll warn you my daughters zipper broke the first time she wore this so I don't recommend it unless you are gentle with the zipper.
