The New Four Seasons (Vivaldi Reimagined)

The product came in good time and was in excellent condition. This recomposed version of The Four Seasons by Max Richter offers a complimentary interpretation of the original composition.

I would have liked more detail in the gatefold,A missed opportunity there. Sound quality is great, no rumble or clicks. The interpretation of the original piece is fantastic, a great listen.

The original was excellent as it was.But this new take on Richter's Recomposed is very different. The original, which is ten years old now, was tight, light and captured the real playful essence of Vivaldi's original.However, this version feels looser, rawer, more freer. Its soundscape touches more on the synth than the original and you can really tell that the players are using gut strings rather than synthetic ones as the sound is rounder and you can really feel the earthly scrape of the bow against the strings. Yet, it still maintains it's romanticism and sweeping phrases and drama.

Saw his concert at Chelsea recently, where he performed the whole album. It was superb & I bought it straight after the concert.

This is a masterpiece, sonically it is very well recorded. The musicians contribute to a sensational listening that you’ll want to go on and on.

Max Richter has done it again!! I loved his original, but the new one does not disappoint, Great Album, great to chill to whether your in the car, office or music room. Music like this is the reason Vinyl was invented….

40 minutes of some of the most beautiful music ever written and submitted to disc. Just buy it, you know you want it.

But I'll stick with the original Vivaldi.If you want a "recomposed" version then The electric V. by Thomas Wilbrandt is worth listening to.
