I have all of the Star Wars manuals and the Back to the Future manual also. I really enjoyed them and am a huge Star Trek fan so this looked very good. I am not disappointed. Very informative. Includes every Enterprise from the NX-1 to the E. Also talks about how warp could work, transporters, photon torpedoes, etc. I purchased it used but it honestly looks and feels brand new. Not a single blemish or tear. This is a must have for any Star Trek fan. Very happy. No complaints. Fun book
It would easily be a 5 star rating to someone who's a fan of the later ships, I was disappointed that not enough emphasis was placed on the original Kirk's ship and its rebuild. The gives a great visual on the interior layout and scale of these ships and explanations of the technology in a way like it really exists, its highly organized jiberish made to make sense....

A tech manual for non-technical "Star Trek" fans
"USS Enterprise Haynes Manual" is a technical manual for non-technical readers. It's a guidebook to the starships that have appeared in the Prime Timeline TV series and films of "Star Trek" lore. An opening essay provides a brief history of them all, from Jonathan Archer's NX-01 through Jean-Luc Picard's NCC-1701-E. Individual chapters for each ship include operational histories and systems overviews, which are illustrated with a mix of cutaway drawings and stills from episodes and films. Co-authors Ben Robinson and Marcus Riley also include information on the ships' bridges; weapons, engineering and medical systems; shuttlecraft; and transporters. Interwoven with information on the ships are essays on other aspects of the prime "Star Trek" universe, including time travel, parallel universes and faster-than-light theory. But the non-technical fan's eyes won't glaze over, as the book is written in non-technical, or non-technobabble, English which makes the information clear and understandable.

I love Star Trek
And I love this book. Gives you cut away of the vessels, so you can see inside. Not just enterprise but lots of other cargo ships and space shuttles.
