I’ve wanted to make pho at home for ages, especially now that it’s getting colder. This powder delivers an unbelievably delicious broth that rivals restaurant quality. While a true restaurant broth is simmered for hours on bones and is likely more nutritious, this mix hits the spot perfectly. I don’t drink the broth on its own because it’s a powder, so it doesn’t offer the same health benefits as a bone‑based stock. However, the flavor is outstanding. It’s super easy to use just add water and you can scale the batch from a single bowl to 10 or even 20 bowls. I made a ten‑bowl batch, froze the broth, and now pull out portions every few days to make beef pho. The convenience and consistent quality are phenomenal. Get 6L of water hot, then add solids from the container, and add rock sugar, ginger, and onion to give it a good depth of flavor. Beef stock and fish sauce are tasty in the soup also. Wait till all your ingredients are simmering and then add your spice packs in the mix for about 20 mins and remove them and it will be very tasty and aromatic. These should come in packs of 4 or 6 to be able to save on multiple purchases. One will make enough broth to feed 4-6 people should you be willing to share.

I bought this product based on a recommendation from my Vietnamese friend. I use it to make broth by boiling water with ginger and onions, then adding this product. It makes the broth taste even better. If you add beef directly to the broth, it turns red, so it's better to lightly cook the beef in a separate pot and then mix it in. It tastes better than most restaurants.

This is my about favorite pho base and its so easy to use! I add it to so many soups and it gives such a cozy flavor (instead of the artificial flavors from other brands) This is my second time purchasing, went through the first batch in 6 months! Totally worth it, 100 percent recommend!

PROS: good flavor, but if using amount of water on label, the flavor is lost CONS: excessively salty masking flavor, but if more water is added, flavor is lost first time/last time purchase

This product is good , I just not expecting has the soup base and 2 bags herbs in it, because usually we brought product that only has herbs bags in it, it was surprised one but it’s till good , would like to give 5 stars if they could add more herbs bag inside instead more on soup base paste,
