My Charteaux cat has had Diarhea since I got him on and off tried many different remedies. This Pet honesty has worked for 1 full month so far. My cat eats Blue Buffalo sensitive stomach dry food and I just sprinkle a 1/4 tsp on top of his food every time I feed him. I tried the Purina packets and their instructions were to give the cat 1 pack a day so I found that if I only used it 0nce a day and not every time I fed my cat he would still get Diarhea. So tried the Pet Honesty and just made sure he gets a good amount on top of his food every time he eats! Also he has not thrown up at all . What a great product, why my vet did not tell me about this has me a little pissed off the vet said he could run blood tests for about $2,000,00 and no assurance of what benefit it might be. The other great thing about Pet Honesty is no packets to open ,it comes with a spoon .

This was a complete waste of $30. I was hoping this product would aid my older cat to stay regular and was encouraged by positive reviews from satisfied cat folks. My cat is not a finicky eater at all and eats just about anything he can get a hold of. I thoroughly mixed a scoop into his favorite pate food and even topped it with freeze dried salmon treats he normally goes wild for, all to no avail. He took one sniff and immediately began meowing at me. I left the meal out for over an hour and he would not even eat the salmon. He just continued to sniff at the bowl, then look at me like I was an idiot and meow. I emptied the bowl and filled it with his food without adding the probiotic and he eagerly devoured it. I went to return this expensive additive that is worthless to me and found this product is NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN. Buyer beware, if your cat will not eat it, you too will have a $30 worthless jar of powder.

I have a very picky maine coon. all those molasses flavored goos and treats she hates, for some reason she loves the smell of sweet oats and all the pet honesty products I've tried she either loves, or will eat because she knows it helps her. my poor girl developed IBD in 2020 and I've struggled to find a complete solution. She loves slippery elm bark powder and it took many product tries until finding a probiotic. She'll eat it out of my hand/on my finger tip. She drinks a lot of water so I do recommend if you have a feline that isn't well hydrated to put it into their wet food or water. Also I've already noticed a smell change to her poo. yesterday, only two days after giving my girl half a dose of this stuff, she had a BM and it was a good consistency and smelled fantastic. Well as great as poo can smell. If you have an animal with IBD you know what I mean. Highly recommend their joint health treats and hair ball treats to keep the poos regular and fur balls at bay.

Final Review! June 4th - both of my cats take this probiotic every day. My girl with CKD has an easier time in the litter box going #2. Although, she is on a wet food diet exclusively now so I'm sure that helped. My girl also vomited a bit since we started this probiotic. I am chalking the vomiting up to nausea that comes with CKD. Both of my cat's coats are nice and glossy. My cats eyes are shiny and vibrant. My cat's dry skin from midwestern winters is no more. No dry skin itching. My cats have a good appetite and they stay active so they burn off the calories fast. My CKD girl struggles with her appetite (part of the illness) but this probiotic makes it possible to get her food down. Good product! I mix this with wet food and sometimes sprinkle it on top of kibble. So far it seems this product works fine for my 2 cats. I have a cat with CKD. She constantly vomits right after eating (1-3x every other day) and she strains to go #2 in the litter box. It has been a battle to find out why she can't keep food down or pass it. The vet says it's stuck hairballs that can cause all this based on an x-ray. I think that CKD also that causes cats to feel nauseous or have toxin build up in their bodies preventing them from eating properly. CKD causes massive dehydration and that's what her #2 seemed like. I was researching which fiber I should try giving her to ease her system. I learned that probiotics would be a better route than just pumpkins. I stumbled on this product. After using this for about a week: my older cat has not vomited undigested food. I'm so used to the retching and the heaving and racing to take her to the trash can. She is going #2, regularly. The waste is soft and a good size amount. Much better than non existent, like before. I am happy to see that she is being more productive when going to the litter box. I was dreading how badly she is malnourished because she kept throwing up her food so often. This probiotic seems to help keep the food down and passes it through. There is a slight improvement in her coat. There is an increased appetite. If you know a CKD cat, it is critical to make sure they eat. She is gaining weight, looking forward to meal time, asks for food more often, and seems her system is getting corrected. I plan to keep using this to keep my cats (ckd and non ckd) regular. I will update the review when we are half way through the container and when we complete the container. Especially, as part of a very careful regimen for my CKD girl. Every CKD cat should be on a probiotic. I wish I was using this sooner. I wish my vet would have told me instead of making switch foods and forcing medicine into her body. It is expensive and smells yucky but is needed. In addition to this probiotic, my ckd cat takes these for her kidneys and stiff legs: forza10 renal support, dasuquin, kidney support gold for cats, and Standard Process feline renal support.

I have been getting this product since 3/2023, since then I have had to have it replaced on 4 separate occasions, this last time being the last straw as I’m now seeing this is a mass issue and they are acting as if they have no idea this is a problem. I was getting the product from Amazon from 3-11/2023 and after the first occurrence of a strong spice or herb scent and Amazon telling me they would not replace or return the item I reached out to Pet Honesty directly. At the time their customer service seemed amazing and shipped me a new replacement jar. At the end of December it happened again so I decided to do autoship direct through their website, hoping that maybe it was a storage or shipping problem on Amazon’s side. In April…same issue, scent so strong that my cats won’t touch it…and I don’t have picky cats. They offered to replace both jars and acted surprised to be hearing this, suggested that maybe my cats would enjoy the chews better, I said no, please just replace the jars and we’ll see how they do. I finally got the replacements with the same exact issue. My cats won’t touch it and what’s worse is that as pet owners, we are left to wonder why something has such an obvious change and why no one is addressing it. I came directly here to look at reviews and within 10 minutes had screenshots of at least 20 reviews saying they had purchased before and other purchases the jars smelled different or their cats wouldn’t eat their food with this mixed in. So I called Pet Honesty back after cancelling my autoship. I asked them very directly if this was a known issue. The representative I spoke with said it was the first time they had heard about it. I made it clear I found that hard to believe and that while it wasn’t their issue, to please escalate to management as this was clearly gaslighting. Also, for what it’s worth, they said Amazon won’t refund but you customers can reach out to them directly for issue with quality.
