The remote arrived on time and was packaged very well. This remote works perfectly with our older-style Bose System. There was no programming necessary, all I had to do was remove the plastic protective piece from the batteries and hit the power button, and our system came on, yeah! The remote does look completely different from my original remote, but it does look exactly as pictured in the ad. I have included a picture of my original remote, the new remote…. As well our Bose System so if you also have this system, you'll feel confident in your purchase. The remote also came with a holder that has a sticky backing that you could attach somewhere that will allow you to store your remote safely and where you can always find it. I highly recommend the remote and give the seller an A++ Rating!

Such a simple product, but this truly saved us from having to replace a very old Bose sound bar (Bose CineMate 1 SR Home Theater Speaker System). We have had that sound system since it was released and just recently our remote for this system failed. Like many companies these days... proprietary products have proprietary equipment that can't really be replaced easily, such as the original remote. We tried other remotes, but there wasn't any syncing codes to program a new remote. This little unit worked perfect! turned on our sound system and then I was able to program the sound system to our apple tv. My only gripe with this is that I feel it may be a bit expensive for such a simple product... but 17 dollars for a simple replacement of a remote versus replacing an entire bose sound system I'll take the 17 dollars any day. Would definitely recommend.

Works as expected

I don't recall the last time I saw my original remote, so I can't compare this directly to my original Bose remote. The first thing I noticed when opening the package was that this was better than my last replacement remote in construction and feel. There is a little more weight to it, it is a little larger in all dimensions, and the rubberized face has raised rings around the buttons so they are very easy to distinguish in the dark. I removed the plastic tab preserving the battery during storage (just pull the tab, no need to open the battery compartment) and hit the power button, and yes, my system turned on. I would have awarded 5 stars if I could hold the volume button down to change the volume instead of repeated presses, but for the price, I'm happy with the remote. If I drop this one in the water (like my last replacement), I will buy it again instead of the current (October 2018) best seller that I bought last time. System: Bose Cinemate GS II

So glad we bought this remote after we lost ours!! We have a cinemate series 2 bose sound system and it paired up with one click! It's so nice and comes with a battery and a holder !!!

What a relief. I had lost my Bose Cinemate 15 remote. Found this on Amazon and it compatible and works well. Basic operation but works.
