QUICK REMOVAL OF BIMINI
THESE FITTINGS ARE CAST STAINLESS STEEL. THEY APPEAR TO BE VERY STRONG AND HIGHLY POLISHED. AS CASTINGS THEY ARE A LITTLE ROUGH INTERNALLY BUT THAT DOES NOT VERY MUCH AFFECT FUNCTION. THE BASE MEASURES 3.230" (82MM) LONG AND 1.277" (32.44MM) WIDE. THIS SIZE WAS CRITICAL TO ME BECAUSE I HAD TO POLISH A SMALL RADIUS AT THE WIDEST POINT OF THE WIDTH OF ONE SIDE TO FIT MY BOAT. RESULT LOOKED GREAT. HOLES ARE .206" (5.23MM) DIAMETER AND 2.489" (63.22MM) FROM CENTER TO CENTER. I USED 4 OF THESE TO ATTACH BIMINI AND REAR SUPPORT POLES. PERFECT.

Shoddy design and manufacturing
DONT expect these to be Accon quality. Purchased 8 and noticed the same disregard for tolerances. Make sure you carry a pocket screwdriver to release the buttons since they do not sit proud of the casting or break a fingernail trying to release them. Tried to return all eight of them but the shipping price going back to China was ridiculous. Now I am stuck with them Buyer beware
