Can these be used for leather?

These can be used with leather; however, the primary purpose is for metal. They are a bit sharper than traditional leather stamps and have a circular head on the shank, which, if stamped too hard, can impress on the leather. We recommend practicing on scraps first before stamping your final piece.

Can you use it on sheet metal?

This kit is compatible with soft metals such as Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Nickel Silver and Alkeme.
