The clamp doesn't secure well enough and loosens while driving. Mount moves around while driving.

I purchased this cellphone holder for use during Trips where I need my GPS. Its serving its purpose. But its not what I expected. As shown in the video that is attached to this review, you can see that this cellphone holder is unable to clamp onto the rear-view mirror of my car. I tried to get it to clamp onto my rear view mirror countless amounts of time. Since I have a few road trips coming up, I decided not to return it, and to find better use for it. There is a small storage compartment beneath the center console of my car. While leaving the panel of the storage compartment open, it is much easier for the phone holder to clamp onto it. Although it was not what I expected, I still find this product to be pretty useful. My main issue with this cellphone holder is that even as I'm driving and I hit the slightest bump it causes the clamp to loosen every so often, which leads to my phone falling along with the holder. Another possibility of why it keeps falling is that my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 might be too heavy. I think that this cellphone holder is meant to hold lighter cellphones. Other than that, I think if you are clever enough. You can figure out the most secure and convenient way to clamp it to any part of your car. It may be more steady than mine, depending on where you clamp it in your car, as well as if you have a different car than mine, many parts are different sizes. So try your Luck. Get yours today, and even if it doesn't fit on your Rear-View mirror, you can find a better place rather than returning it. Good Luck!!!!!!! Drive Safely!!!!!!!

I really do love this. I don't have to use the cupholder kind or the ones that attach to air vent or suction type that don't work or the glue ones for the dash. This was a quick and simple attachment to mirror that keeps my phone out my way but in my sight if necessary. it is being used in my Ford F250

I like the concept of clipping to the mirror support. I had been using a different product which clamped around the mirror itself but it never really quite fit and on occasion would come off with little provocation. The only problem I am having so far is it is difficult to fully tighten the clamp around the mirror mount. You need to spin an outer rim, but getting an adequate grip with your hand seems impossible in such a tight space. I might try using a wrench. That being said, if you don't tighten it too tight, you can swing it around and hide it when not in use - which is convenient.

This item is not very sturdy at all. I feel like it not made for all rear view mirrors. Wish I had the box so I can send it back pronto!!. Will not order again

I like the holder, the only thing is that the nut that tightens it in to place comes loose and has to be tightened often. it is a bit of a pain but its nice to have hands-free device.

Se coloca en el espejo retrovisor pero aunque se apriete el tornillo al máximo, en estas calles bacheadas de esta ciudad se mueve mucho. Estorba la visibilidad al conducir. Lo regrese a las 4 horas de uso. Evítenlo.
