My cat is 14 pounds and she fits on it barely. Dips down in the front when she gets in so that it looks tilted and is probably putting a lot of pressure on the window. My cat also doesn't like the mesh and will have to put a cover on it. Overall, it's okay. It was easy to install.Update: 12/2018 my cat doesn't use it at all and it was just sitting on the window in case she wants to use it. But, the suction cups are failing and it just falls off the wall now. If she would use it I would have to buy new suction cups. Not a good buy for me.

It was not hard to put together although I had to figure a few things out myself. No real instructions. But not one of my three cats will give it a try! So it just sits there attached to the window for no reason. My daughter has a similar item which her cats love so I'll just give it to her.

It is functional and our cat enjoys sitting in the window though every time he jumps down the metal parts hit the window. The first few times it startled him... he has now figured out how to make it hit less. On top of that is does not appear to be as sturdy as stated. My cat is not even 10lbs and the ledge angles down when he's on it. Needless to say, I would not recommend this.

Horrible!!! Doesn't stick and cat is scared to death because it's fallen twice. Don't but this piece of junk. I wrote this and since then my daughter's cat uses it all the time. The suction cups so come off time to time but cats gotten used to it. He loves this seat

I have been wanting to buy this kind of cat perch because my cat loves sunbathing. She will sleep wherever there is sunny spot. I saw her sit by the window many times but there is no wide enough space for her to sleep there. I have been very skeptical about the strength of these kind of suction cups. Anyway I gave it a shot. I try this pricier product, hoping for better quality.It didn't come with any instructions but it's not really necessary. I looked at the picture from Amazon and understood right away. I cleaned the window first. Apparently the secret is at the white suction cups. You can turn it clockwise and it kinda sucks the air and attached really strong. My worries are all gone. Seriously I didn't see it falling, not then, not in the future. I put my cat in it. I thought she would try to run away but NO, she circled on it n sat down, but only for 5 minutes. I put her back, this time she watched the squirrel and slept there for a while. The next day she jumped there on her own and slept there. I'm satisfied owner!!They provided 2 extra suction cups that I think is unnecessary. The top white suction cups are realy strong with the turning knobs. The bottom clear ones are only for positioning the perch so its strength doesn't really matter. I would rather pay a bit less and get no extra suction cups. I need to buy one more for the other window which gets morning sun. The one it's on right now only get afternoon sun.The fabric is removable, with velcro, if you want to wash. I will put something soft on top though especially for the winter. For now the weather is still warm enough so it's fine with that mesh, makes it more "airy."

I ordered this product twice. The first time it came with only three suction cups and no directions. The second time it came with no suction cups and no directions. At this point, I am going to give up.

It seems very strong when I saw it at first sight, and it proves it’s indeed very strong. Unlike other cat window perch, it’s almost installed well, all I have to do is to attach suction cups to window, easy to install. My suggestion is, don’t be lazy, clean the window first, erase the dust and dirt; if suction cups is squeezed, soak it in water for few minutes, and attach to window, squeeze out the air, and you will see how strong the suction cups is. My cat also love it.

This thing does not work. The suctions at the bottom, don't work. I had to return this item.
