Fiber Gbix
I ordered this adapter hoping it would work. The switch was configured and it works like a charm. Will reorder when I get more equipment.

Plug and Play
Building out my LAN and needed this for my switching capabilities. Plugged into CISCO switch without issue and was recognized. Only 5 ft distance, so reaching speeds was easy.

Works well
Installed this into a 10G capable switch and it worked just fine. Granted the distance was short as this was tested on the bench, but it worked well. I interfaced it to another brand SFP+ unit and both ends synced up just fine. The switch reported a 10300mb connection which is normal for a 10G SFP+ module. I am happy wiht the product and can recomend it.

Good build quality
I am building out my network at home so I got this for flexibility to connect to my planned NAS server. So far I don't have all the pieces to use this item but I like the solid built quality and it was packaged well.I expect it should work as advertised

Got this at the right time!
Needed a 10g sfp for a Fortinet switch that was being installed. Used it to test and ensure it would work and then ordered one though the company. Keeping this as a test/temp replacement for future work.Didn't have to do much configuration out of the ordinary and getting the speed we expected.

It works great! 10G fiber connectivity for cheap!
This transceiver worked just fine. It arrived in a plastic clamshell protector. No problems to report with the build quality. Everything looked good out of the box.I was able to use this transceiver in two generic Intel X520 PCIe SFP cards and a Dell R820 daughter card. I connected one of the PCIe cards to the Dell R820 and ran a benchmark using iperf3. Speeds are as expected, no issues with connection dropouts or overheating. At the time of writing this review, the price of this module was $14.71 including an 8% coupon. I think this price is pretty good compared to the competition.

Easy to install and works flawlessly.
I'm not a tech expert, but this transceiver module was easy to install and has been working flawlessly. It provides a fast and reliable connection, and I haven't experienced any issues with it so far. It's definitely a good option if you need to upgrade your network.

Good quality SFP+ optical transceiver.
The Opstran 10GBASE-LR SFP+ Optical Transceiver arrived professionally packed in a windowed clamshell packet. The receiver is well built and features an optical duplex connection to a SFP+ plug.Becoming more difficult to obtain decent value optical duplex accessories now as most newer SFP+ cards are starting to feature RJ45 type connections for their 10G setups, so this adaptor is a welcome addition to the marketplace at this price point.Although listed as an HPE Aruba/ProCurve adaptor, the unit should function well in any modern SFP+ setup and I tested it in a generic Windows 10G PCIe card to a QNAP NAS and it worked flawlessly.A well priced optical duplex to SFP+ transceiver.

Worked Perfectly With Cisco Catalyst Switches
I used a pair of Cisco Catalyst 4500 switches to test this with and had absolutely zero problems.Granted, the switches were in the same room, so "distance" wasn't a factor in my testing, but for essentially plug and play... Worked like a charm

Old school 10G fibre speeds through an SFP module for HP procurves
If you have a couple of switches that are compatible with these SFP's then you can get yourself 10G speeds between them with 2 of this SFP's and some multimode 1310 nanometer fibre cable.Essentially this is old school real fibre connectivity (lots of systems these days can do 10G over RJ45) as such assuming you abide by the fibre rules about tightness of bends etc you can get sustained 10Gbs speeds. If you dont follow the rules you can have huge issues in detecting the performance loss.I've tested this device by plugging in to the procurve and seeing that its detected but I've only got one 1310 nm SFP, the other issue with these types of fibre is that you have different frequencies so you need to ensure you use match SFP's in this case its 1310nm..These are a reasonable price for 10GB SFP's
