Other than that it works great and is very bright
The button on this to turn on/off is not actually a button. It's flush with the shape and has to be held for 2 seconds before turning on/off. That's the only downfall for cooking in the dark is not being able to FEEL the button. Other than that it works great and is very bright!

At last, I can see clearly how the food is cooking with low to no light. Easy to operate the touch controller for the light. Strong enough to light up the majority of the cooking grills (I have four burners). Clamps work well and stay put! However, when closing the BBQ lid the extension arm (which holds the lighting bulb part) just barely puts the lighting bulb beyond the front of the gill - could be design better for just this issue. Thus the rationale for my rating four instead of five stars. I would recommend this to others to purchase.

Horrible Garbage - Buy American
Lasted 1 year. I turned it on twice. 2nd year wouldn't work. Finally got around to contacting the company and as you can imagine, no response. I wasted $20. How long should an outdoor light last? 10 years, 20 years? Not two. Buy American.

STOPPED WORKING
Worked fine for the first two months. Then it stopped working. Changed the batteries three times thinking that was the problem. Nope. Just does not work anymore. Never kept it in the elements. Stayed in the deck storage box. So it never got wet.

I suppose it works as described, but the cover was flimsy, and I can't see my husband taking it off each time he uses it. So I returned it.

My step dad LOVES this light! Way better and effective compared to mom holding her cell phone light for him. This product is great and I highly recommend it!

Great Lamp!!
It can stand heat very well, I don't give 5 stars beacuse of the ON/OFF button that is touch sesitive and not a real button and because of that even if you not use it the battery dies in a couple of months, So my best advice is if you'r not going to use it remove the batteries or they will die.
