Great for treating trigger finger
Delivered quickly and works well! I have trigger finger and need to prevent my ring finger from bending and reaching the "lock" position and this splint does the job. It's comfortable and doesn't dig into the palm. Recommended.

Great size and it works!
So thankful for this splint and the relief it has brought me. After suffering with a locking/popping/aching left ring finger (knuckle) for three months that refused to get better on its own, I finally gave in and went to the doctor who recommended immobilization with a splint as a first line of treatment. However, the doctor-provided splint was a long one that was held in place with wrapping and I found it very uncomfortable, cumbersome, and time-consuming because of having to unwrap and rewrap it whenever I needed to take it off. Also, since my full-time work involves working with a computer all day, the doctor-provided splint was pretty much useless because I wasn't able to wear it at work because I couldn't type with it on. After a month of wearing that splint (mostly at night), I was no better so I made trip number two to the doctor who then recommended a cortisone shot as the second line of treatment. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the immediate improvement I was expecting after that shot. That was disheartening. At that point, I decided to again try immobilization, but this time instead of going to the doctor, I hopped on Amazon and searched for trigger finger splints and found this Vive one. The price was right and the size looked good so I ordered it. Best decision ever. It was small enough in size that I could wear it at work and type. It was also small enough in size that it wasn't cumbersome or uncomfortable. And I realized real quick that the best way to use it was to tighten it just tight enough that it stayed on, but loose enough that I could easily be pulled off (like a ring, without having to separate and restick the Velcro repeatedly). Using it that way made it quick and easy to take off and put back on when needed. Within a week of wearing this little splint, I noticed a huge improvement in my finger and after two weeks, I no longer had popping or locking. I plan to continue wearing it for a number of weeks in order to continue resting/healing that ringer. I was going to buy a second one in case I misplace my current one, but, unfortunately, as of the writing of this review, it is no longer available on Amazon. I really hope it'll be available again soon because it is a good little product.

A Just Right Splint
I injured the MCP joint (knuckle) of my index finger, and moving the lower joint forward caused intense pain. This Vive splint worked perfectly to prevent that painful movement while allowing the upper finger joints to move freely and perform limited tasks. It’s adjustable and fits comfortably over my finger, and the material doesn’t irritate my skin, even after wearing it most of the day and night.

Splint works fine so long as you don't grab things
This finger splint is good if you don't have to grab things. Once you start using your hand like that, the finger will overcome the shortness of the splint and your knuckle will lock. If you have to use your hands for work then you would need a splint that reaches the middle knuckle in as well as the big knuckle. That will keep the finger stabilized so that it will only bend at the fingertip knuckle.

Wow!
Works advertised. My middle finger became a "trigger finger" and was locked in position. After wearing this splintfor the last month, the pain was reduced. Now continuing wearing splint and also removing the splint and squeezing a rubber ball gives me hope that I do not need to see a specialist.

Great Product!!!
This splint is greatIt gave me the relief from my Trigger Finger that I was hoping for. I found that you really don't need to cinch it super tight on your finger either. I was doing that & it made a a little sweat rash on my finger. So I loosened it up a bit & it still worked fine. It's really not the prettiest but who cares. As long as it gives you relief!!!

This one was a life saver for my trigger finger.
This splint was a life saver in the long process of healing of my trigger finger!! Can’t thank. enough the one who designed these. It is perfectly designed to immobilise only the MCP joint at the base of the finger relieving the stress on the inflamed flexor tendon. It leaves the other 2 joints free which is soooo much of a relief !!! That allowing basic activities and not stressing the entire finger. I had tried couple of products and those splints immobilised the entire finger taking away the entire movement which was unnecessary and stressful. They might have been meant for fractures. This one perfectly does the job and I highly recommend it for someone who has trigger finger.
