I got these for my dad and he loves them. They are the same size as a credit card and fits right in his wallet. The functionality and ease of use helps him not rely on someone else to read menus, labels, small print. Great purchase and will buy again.

I rate this basic flexible fresnel magnifier as a good value. I would buy this product again. Pros: - The magnifying power seems to be 2 to 2.5x. It is essentially a little zoom lens in which your hand does the zooming. You move the lens up and down to adjust the magnification. - The fresnel plastic material is very light and easy to hold when reading. - The magnifier is sharp edge-to-edge unlike the cheap plastic round magnifying glasses, which are sharp at the center but blurred at the edges. - The magnifier is flexible and can take some bending, making it okay to carry around in purse, pocket or belt pack. - The blue plastic case provides protection from scratching and losing it. The lens itself is clear so it is easy to misplace. - I treat it with care. I had no problems with scratches in ordinary use. - The lenses are inexpensive and come four to a pack, giving extras to carry around with you or to leave at home. Cons: - This is a low power magnifier. I use this as a regular carry-around to get an extra boost when reading newspapers or magazines. If you have a specialized use like reading prescription labels or legal fine print, you may want to buy a 5x power or stronger magnifying glass made from real optical glass. Arrived on time and works as advertised. Great value for the money. The biggest sell for me was the claim they do not break. I have tried other products that are hard inflexible plastic. Once they are in my wallet, sooner or later I would sit on it wrong and the other products would split or break apart. This product is flexible. I bent the lens almost in half and there was no damage. For many men with a wallet in their back pocket, this is an important benefit. Reading with them is them is the same as any other product I have tried. Position the lens off the page a distance that is comfortable with you and the image is very clear. With a four pack my wife has one in her purse, I have one in my wallet, and one each in our desks. This is a quality of life product that many may not realize they could use. My wife says the small print on products do not escape her now while she is shopping. Sometimes I am sent images that cannot be zoomed in enough to show the detail I require. Using this on my computer or phone often allows me to make the decision without wasting time asking for the image to be saved in a different format and resent. And of course, the "I forgot my reading glasses" can be overcome by keeping one of these in your wallet/purse. Most of us adjust to not being able to see close up detail. Unfortunately, that adjustment is sometimes ignoring what we cannot see. For me, something simple and portable like this has more than once made a difficult decision an obvious and simple one after seeing the details. Get whatever product you desire, but even if you have perfect vision, you may be surprised of the benefit that portable magnification can give you when away from your normal spaces and tools.

This type of magnifier will never match a magnifier with better optics. However, it is useful as designed to be very portable and helpful with small map print.

Strong, clear, and cuttable for projects. Works perfectly in my current one, a small Art Deco style clock that's 3D printed. It fills in for the glass that would normally be in such a clock, and the magnification makes it so much better. Can't beat the price for a 3-pack, either.

Ero abituata alle lenti d'ingrandimento classiche in vetro , spesse e pesanti ! Mi sono imbattuta in questo tipo di lenti molto sottili e leggere e devo dire che fanno egregiamente il loro dovere . Naturalmente sono un po' piu' delicate rispetto a quelle in vetro ma con piccoli accorgimenti e' facile prolungarne la durata . Vanno mantenute nella loro custodia per impedire graffi e che si sporchino . Infatti i tratti in rilievo che permettono l'ingrandimento tendono a sporcarsi ma basta pulirli delicatamente con un batuffolo umido di ovatta che le lenti tornano ad ingrandire senza rifrazioni delle immagini desiderate. on retrouve la meme "technologie" qui habille les caisses de super-marché ! c'est le même principe de cercles concentriques, je m'y connais pas assez en optique pour élaborer... mais du coup on a une loupe fine comme une feuille de papier (enfin un peu plus, hein...) à un prix mini et au format tellement utile de la carte de crédit. ça tient dans le porte-feuille, ça se fait oublier, et c'est super utile quand le besoin s'en fait sentir. un gadget top et pas cher !!!

I do have reading glasses but they are sometimes not within reach. Each magnifier has a soft plastic pocket for protection, and on delivery they were all placed inside a small black cloth pouch. This must be due to the fact that they can also be used as fire starters. To do this you must catch a ray of direct sunlight, and then create a small bright spot, and focus it on the object you want to ignite. I have tested this, and was able to get smoke quite easily. These magnifiers are simply amazing. For everyday use, and also as a tool in your emergency prepping kit. They are obviously not a kids toy, so don't leave them lying around - and always keep them inside the blue plastic pockets. This will also protect them from scratches. You get four magnifiers with each order - but I was lucky and actually got five!
