Jekayla Sew On Reflective Silver Tape High Reflection Tape (2 Inch x 10 Yards)

I bought this to put on my husband's work t-shirts (reflective wear is required on his job). This tape has been on the t-shirts through several washings and has come through beautifully. I bought 2-10 yd--2" rolls and this did 4 t-shirts. I applied in an H fashion on the front and back of the t-shirts, from hem to shoulders. I guess I could have gotten by with less I suppose, but I figured more was better! Also, I applied using a zig zag stitch....and as I stated, they have come through the laundry just beautifully.

I don't know how much is on the big rolls pictured (1000 yds?) but what you get is a lot more like the smaller rolls shown in some of the later pictures. After seeing that giant size roll pictured it's a little disappointing to get a tiny roll when you order the largest size available. The material is relatively thin and only reflective on one side but seems sturdy enough. Most importantly it reflects light well. I purchased the (30 ft) two inch roll but cut it in to 1 inch strips to use on some handcrafted winter dog jackets. Worked great.

Highly reflective back to the light source source and also decent at slightly off angles (a problem with prismatic reflective materials as opposed to these glass beads.) Warning, difficult to cut. Not a problem with the product, but the glass beads on the fabric make it hard to cut more than one layer. I just didn't think about it. Material is very light weight, but seems very tough.

If you order 30 yards, you get three rolls of 10 yards. The pictures are really close-up. The tape appears to be very thin woven synthetic with the reflective bonded to one side. It is highly reflective, just be careful if you are sewing with a powerful machine you may have to hold the tape taught so the needle won't suck it down into the seam. It is surprisingly strong for how thin it is. I tried to stretch it out of shape with my hands and couldn't do it. I feel the main pic is misleading. If I would have known or understood it came in multiple rolls, I would have ordered differently.

Really happy with this product. Highly reflective (one side only). Woven so it is highly flexible and easy to sew. On a costume it looks much more silver than the product picture suggests, so it can be used decoratively with safety as a bonus.

I ordered this to cover a bad tear to the lower leg on a pair of very expensive work pants. They were a gift to my son and he loved them, but couldn't wear them due to the tear. I took them to see what I could do. I was able to close the hole with cloth and seam tape on the inside but it still looked bad on the outside. So I ordered this tape to sew on over the tear. I then put it on the opposite side of that leg and to both sides of the other leg. Now the pants are repaired, they look good and they have reflective qualities. He works construction and he also walks his dog. The reflective nature of the tape adds to his safety during these days of short daylight. Not a bad thing at all!

I sew it on to my jacket both arms and my bag. It is very noticiable from car in the dark.
