Great item
I'm a water fitness instructor so take my gear seriously. I like this product. I ordered the pink set which is the medium level of resistance. They're just right for me. Easy enough to move around and yet enough to get real resistance. Pink color is nice, not as garish as I expected. The pink is decent and sort of "uplifting". Here's what works: - hand holds are extremely comfortable - ergonomic design - I love holding them - Ankles seem loose at first, but play with the velcro - you will find a way to make it stay firm to your ankles - The set makes for a really good water work out in 20 mins a day Here's things to be aware of: - Be sure to wash them off in cool water after each pool use. Chlorine can discolor the plastic. - Don't leave them to dry off in the sun. Sun can discolor the plastic. - Don't drop the hand bells. They are sturdy but will chip (probably) if dropped. I baby them to keep them nice. I bought a special bag with a bit of padding for carrying them to the pool. - You should know the hand bells are too big and bulky to travel with (by plane) but you could toss them in your car for a week getaway easily. The ankle pieces by contrast are smaller and could go with you in a suitcase more easily when you travel. - Some people complain about the price for value. I got my set for $119. For the amount I will use them I think the price is OK. Sure, I would be happier paying $85-90, but having said that, I don't feel ripped off -knowing they give me a good workout and I will take care of them so they last a long time. Happy water workouts!

Wonderful resistance for the pool
I recently had shoulder surgery and needed to build my shoulder and arms back up. I tried free weights and machines only to exhaust my shoulder and create too much pain to resume exercising within a day or two. These resistance weights are easy to use in the water but give you a very good workout. You can do chest presses, fly-backs and range of motion exercises without the exhaustion because of the continuous movement of water. Within three weeks of three times a week workouts with these water weights and I started seeing the tone and strength come back. Don't let the smooth resistance fool you, three sets of 30-50 reps and by the time you hit bed, you feel the soreness. The next morning you are sore but no pain, just the reminder of the workout. If I had the time, I would be in the pool everyday with these weights. I am a female, 57 years old and I am getting the tone and strength back. Now, the lower body fins, move around your ankles no matter how hard you fasten the velcro. Given that, I still wear them for stabilizing my body and core. I do not use them for swimming laps as they move around too much and I have clipped them with one of my ankles when swimming. All in all, good price.

use for physical therapy
I have been going to PT for lower back and they use the blue hand ones for many of the exercises I do. Several of the leg exercises I had to try and do while using a small noodle. I ordered this set and took the legs one to therapy yesterday. The therapist loved them and is going to order for her patients. I used them and what a work out. Much more resistance than I had been getting. So happy with my purchase. I have a pool myself, so when therapy is over I can continue at home. Expensive but well made and if it helps my back.....well worth the price. Arrived faster than expected so that is a plus too.

Nice looking, good for upper body
Nice looking hot pink gear- jumped in the pool with them right away and tried out the ankle “weights” and hand “weights” and took the little included work out sheet. I performed all of the exercises. Unrelated, the Goodyear Blimp flew over my pool repeatedly during my workout. Very random. I felt like the exercises got my heart rate up and were fun and easy. My upper body certainly got more of a work out than the feet fins. Feet fins didn’t fit well and I had to readjust multiple times. Didn’t feel any muscle response in legs but did feel like it opened my hips. I will report back. Glad I have the set to get me out in my pool more.

Aqua Fit workout has more VAVA VOOM!
I've been attending an Aqua Fit class at my local gym. The water weights at the gym provided little to no resistance. I purchased the AquaLogix bundle last week. I've been using the hand weights for the past few workout sessions and am pleased with the resistance they provide when working out. I've not used the fins yet but I expect they provide the same workout resistance for my legs in the water. Several of my swim friends have tried ask about or tried out my AquaLogix dumbells. I'm hoping to see more people using these in our pool workouts.

Work Well, Seem of Good Quality
These add a nice bit of resistance for water exercise without being too much of a stress on the joints. I held off on buying them because of the price, which still seems high for some pieces of plastic and neoprene and velcro, but given that they seem like they will last, and it adds 'value' to my water exercise, I decided that given all the expenses of installing and just running the pool, I might as well get what look like the best option for making the most of my time in the pool.

Max Resistance
The resistance Bell is an excellent upper body work out, it's sturdy and will last a long time. The fins comes loose around your ankle not comfortable because your constantly trying to tighten them while they keep loosening you'll end up taking them off.

Don't let the price turn you off. It's money well spent.
I've heard that the best workout is the one you actually stick to. I'm pretty active (cycling & racquetball) but, for me, working with the aqualogix/hydro revolution gear is the activity I've most stuck to. It's a fun way to maintain or increase functional strength. Got an injury? This gear is perfect for physical therapy. I know because I've needed it multiple times. Great for swimmers, but you don't have to be a swimmer to benefit; I don't swim. Just get in waist-deep to chest-deep water and simulate the movements you'd make on various weight or cardio machines. Need more of a challenge? Just push harder. You're only limited by your imagination. I love my aqua gear! For staying active, it's the best money I've ever spent.
