Good sized bag for a solo multi day hike. Lots of pockets and also comfortable. Night Cat never disappoints

We’ve had this products for about a month, got it for my boyfriend for our backpacking trips, we’ve only used it about 4/5 times and literally the day we got it zippers/zipper protectors fell off, the seams are already starting to tear and we don’t even use it to a “full” capacity and one of the tent straps on the bottom tore off of it already, the hip band doesn’t secure tight enough around his hips so they ride up into an uncomfortable position, the only good thing about the bag is how big the bag is and how much stuff you COULD put in it if it were able to hold stuff to its full capacity, overall dissatisfied and would not recommend Update:7/25/25 After emailing customer service about the issues with the bag they were quick to send out a new one that We’ve had no issues with at all, overall a great product and customer service is friendly and willing to fix the issues, very satisfied with the product and with the service

I purchased the Night Cat 70L Hiking Backpack for a trip to Thailand, and I was really impressed with the design. The bag has plenty of room, multiple pockets, and well-divided compartments, which made packing and organizing my gear much easier than I expected. It also fit comfortably — the straps and fit were great for both men and women. Unfortunately, one of the straps was cut while the bag was in the care of the airport. Because I had to check it due to medical reasons, I wasn’t able to use it for my trip, so I can’t give a full assessment of its durability. This wasn’t the bag’s fault, but it did impact my experience. Overall, the design and capacity are excellent, and I think it would be a great choice for hiking or backpacking — just be mindful when checking it with airlines.

I haven't had it in the wild yet, but I have loaded it up, played with the features, and hiked around my yard. Seems like it will what I need.

I ordered a 70L but you wouldn't know it - the mouth of the pack is clinched too tightly to fit more than a clothing bag, even when the drawstring tie is fully released. I've had to carry my winter sleeping bag separately on hikes which is super annoying. Its also been less than a year of use and some of the plastic buckles have cracked and broken. For good things - it has survived weekly hiking trips for half a year despite the buckles and is still holding together well otherwise. It was a lot of pockets and, if you're committed to stuffing, will fit most things reasonably well. The pack cover it comes with though is way too small, especially if you have a sleeping mat rolled up on the bottom of your bag or anything attached to the outside.

Great pack for the price.

I returned this, never took it out of the box. Had nothing to do with the product, I love my Night Cat stuff. Just decided I didn't need a new backpack. But the box it came in was delightful and I could tell the product inside was likely equally delightful.
