Immediate Allergy relief
I am in the process of doing LDA (low dose allergen treatment) to eliminate my cat/dust/tree/grass/weed allergies. We recently adopted a cat and I thought that I'd be ok since I've already had a couple of the shots, but some allergies are still lingering - I have a few more booster shots to go yet. My allergies are nowhere near the severity that they were, but in the first week of having the cat in the house, I wasn't feeling so hot - still had an energy drain, low level headaches and congestion.I looked on Amazon for pet allergen shampoos and found this one. My husband gave him a bath in it, but I noticed several dry patches on the cat afterwards and I was still feeling pretty yucky after. So I gave him another bath a few days later, but was VERY thorough (I'm surprised the cat comes anywhere near me after that torture.) In any case - I don't know if it's because he got two doses and also because my immune system is reacting less to allergens, but after I washed him again, I have been absolutely fine for the past few weeks. I'm not going to risk figuring out why I've been fine, so I'm definitely going to give him another bath soon.

Made the impossible POSSIBLE
I've never written a product review but this warrants the effort. Growing up I was severely allergic to cats, but being a cat lover I suffered through the pain. One day my granny came home with a small white bottle labeled "allerpet" (about 1998) I squeezed the liquid onto a wash cloth and vigorously scrubbed my cats and it got me through the roughest part of my allergies.Fast forward to current day and I am have son who is severely allergic to cats. We found out about his allergy when one night I was staying at a friend's house and my BF brought our son, who was about 2 at the time, over to pick up our house key. My friend has two full grown cats and I would consider her to be a very clean person. After being in the house for the first time ever for about 10 minutes, my son's eyes swelled shut and she broke out in hives all over. His throat swelled shut and he was struggling to breath. We had to give him adult Benadryl and took him out side right way. Thankfully we didn't have to call 911. We knew then that owning a pet was out of the question. Later that year we took him to see a pulminologist and allergen specialist where a battery of blood work was done. They Tested for all manner or allergens, and on a scale of 0-100,100 being Death, my son scored in the high 80's for cat dander. Confirmation that we would never ever be able to have a pet. He was also diagnosed with chronic sever asthma. The kind that has kept him in the hospital at least once a month since birth and on 5 different medicines a day, every day, since then.Today my son is now 5. He and his brother have begged and begged for a pet and I have had to sadly explain no over and over to them.when my oldest son was diagnosed with anxiety depression and PTSD his pediatrician suggested maybe getting a therapy animal to help calm his nerves. Ender (my younger) had shown some tolerance to dog dander so there was a glimmer of hope. At the time and place we lived a pet just wasn't and option. Once we moved, the talk of a therapy pet came back up but it was slow going. One day I was driving home from the store and saw a sign that said "free kittens". I don't know what came over me but I stopped and picked out two tiny kittens, sisters from the same liter. They were out door kittens and fairly wild. After I took them home both my boys got very very sick. Coughing, asthma attacks and every allergy symptom in the book. I felt like the worst parent ever, because the boys had grown attached to the kittens and it looked like I would have to give them away. Many tears were shed and pleas to give it one more day. I went to our local big box pet supply store and asked them about "allerpet". No one had heard of it and they pointed me to a spray that was very expensive but I bought it hoping it would work. I soaked the house in. It. Washed the bedding in scalding hot water. Vacuumed twice a day. And nothing. The. Lays were still sick and any hope I had of keeping the Kittens. Then I got on Amazon as a last ditch effort and searched for the product of my youth. And Amazon never disappoints. I found this product and was over joyed but skeptical. It wasn't exactly what I had used before but the reviews seemed genuine, so I purchased it and waited patiently. Once it came I sent the boys to their dads, cleaned the house top to bottom and gave the kittens a full on scub down.Once my boys came back our life started to change. Noses dried up, coughs abated. The longer they were home coupled with weekly baths of the kittens a miracle that no one believed was possible happened. My sons are now not affected by the cat hair and dander. Ender can even bury his face in the cat's fur and nary a sniffle. He still has asthma, and he is still on all his meds, but with out a doubt, this product has changed our lives. Other animals still make him sick. Other dusty houses make them sick. When we come home their symptoms clear up! The kittens can even sleep in the bedroom and it's not an issue. I have never been more grateful to a product and company. This is a bottle of magic. Everyone who comes to visit comments on how soft the kittens fur is. There is no cat hair clinging to furniture and there is no odor of animal. The kittens tolerate the product well and it's easier to use than flea dip as you don't have to let it sit on them. Just saturate the fur head to tail tip, scrub down to their skin and rinse. They smell great and our family is able to experience the joy of pet ownership. Please do your self or loved one a favor and try this out.

Greatly reduced my wife's allergic reaction to my dog!
This shampoo is the only thing that we've tried that seems to minimize my wife's reaction to the dog. My dog is a border collie / Rottweiler mix, and he sheds quite a bit. I've read many articles about people's allergic reactions to dogs, many articles claim it is the allergens that they bring in from outside that get trapped within their fur. Others claim it is from their saliva; still others say it is from the dead skin flakes (dander). All I can say for sure is that so far this is the only product that seems to have helped, and it seems to have helped a great deal!! My dog doesn't have to live in the garage anymore, he is able to stay in the house as long as I wash him every 3-4 days. Washing him so much hasn't dried out his skin either, even though he has proven to be quite sensitive to this with other shampoos.Pros: Greatly reduced my wife's allergic symptoms when the dog is inside the houseCons: none that I can see!

Great
Amazing!! It actually works, no more allergies for me. Only improvement I would recommend would be for it to smell nicer.
