Worth the price, convenient storage box!
I do lots of origami, especially modular things, and I LOVE this set of paper. They're small sheets of paper, but definitely not unbearable. I was a little worried when I got the package because it looked a little rough from the outside, but it was completely safe and unharmed when I opened the package. The paper seems like standard quality, with color on one side and white on the other. The box that the papers come in, seen in the photo, is adorable and very functional. When I got it, I took all of the papers out (plastic wrapping still on) and turned the stack to its side and set it back in the box. Perfect storage. It's a little hard to take individual papers out, but it works. I'm very happy with this product, there are so many papers, so many colors (15 COLORS! that's 67 papers per color!), and the packaging is beautiful, all for a great price. I will buy this again. (if I ever run out)

Cute box, paper of good thinness for origami, variety of colors.
Paper is nice, perfect size for making 1000 cranes. One side is colored, one side is white. There are 15 different colors available. While there are more shades of orange and green than other colors, there is still a nice rainbow range that I am happy with. The paper is the perfect thinness -- thick enough to not rip by accident, but thin enough to easily fold cleanly. The box is cute, and very nice for reclosing, when you only want to take a few pieces out at a time. Very cute -- would recommend as a gift.

Good paper
I bought those paper for taking short notes, which I fold and toss in a glass jar. They are easy to fold and write on. Stokes written by ink pen does show on the other side, but I don't mind it. It has happy colors that I like.

Pretty colors, perfectly square!
Perfectly square with vivid pastel colors on one side (white on reverse). Take a look at all of the customer pics to get a good idea of what the colors actually look like in person. There’s a couple shades of each color, but only one shade of lavender. I hope I can find more paper packs from this brand! It’s a good deal for the price!

Showa Grimm Japanese origami paper for 1000 Cranes
This imported Japanese origami paper is 2.75" square, and very thin (imagine a heavy gauge tissue paper almost)to allow for the densely layered folds involved in making cranes, sold as a pack of 1005 for traditional 1000 Cranes projects. Though workable, you likely will not get precise beaks on your cranes- it has a tendency to twist and wad there often, working at this size... though it's not a big disappointment. The colors are *not* pastel- this is how the sheets appear from the side of the box because the paper is white on one side, however the color spectrum is quite pleasant. At how inexpensive it is for what you get, I'll definitely be getting this paper again. Tips for working with it to make 1000 Cranes: Divide all the paper into stacks of 40 in the proper color order before you begin. The way the colors are divided, it is impossible to have identical strands, so that will help prevent any surprises towards the end, like running out of colors in a bad spot. 2 separated threads, doubled over in thickness (to appear as 4 through anything you stitch) of 6 ply cotton embroidery floss worked very well to thread them. I used fancy glass beads on both ends to lock the cranes into place. Explore your options for displaying them- I used a medium/large sized wrought iron floor/self standing wind chime stand. Strands of 40 cranes will be approximately 20"-22" long, plus or minus bead length.

Okay - my friend loved it. He actually was as excited as a child on Christmas morning when he started working with this paper. He whipped out a crane, a small rose, and a duck within a few minutes. He says it is great having everything in the right size and he didn't have to cut it himself. He makes origami to sell and as little presents to people a long the way. He said that this is really good paper.

Its square
I bought cheaper choices, turned out uneven sides or even rectangular. This is cut very nicely square. Recommend for origami.

The color of the paper is perfect. Paper Folds
Fast shipping. The color of the paper is perfect. There's a nice balance in the color contrast. The paper folds easily, and I love the tiny size of each crane. Others mentioned the paper was thin and fragile. I am just about finished with my 1,000 cranes and have only ripped one due to poor storage (on my part). I like that the paper is light and easy to work with. The box the paper comes in is functional, and has been great for easily accessing the paper.
