It's not often I leave reviews...
As my title suggests, I rarely leave reviews for items but this one time I feel I must. I bought this router based on a recommended wifi router list I found online, as it suggested this was a good budget option. It was also on offer at the time, making it an attractive proposition. I was in the market for a router as I had recent changed providers to Virgin Media, and quite frankly their Hub 3.0 is useless. It drops out multiple times during the day, and the signal barely reaches from one side of my (small) house to the other. When the router arrived, I was skeptical as it recommends you download an app to set it up and I was like "here we go, trying to steal my data". However, the app is highly rated on the app store, it works great and was super easy to set up, and as far as I have dug into the terms and conditions, they're not selling my data on the dark web. Set up literally took me 10 minutes, and 5 of those was finding a longer cable. I now have Wifi that isn't dropping out every 30mins, and my PS5 (which is as far away from the router as I can get indoors) is registering the same speeds as when I stand next to the router with my phone compared to Virgin's Hub which dropped over 100mbps in the same locations. The app also allows you to easily add nodes, so expanding the network over several floors or in an old building with solid walls should be straightforward. A solid recommendation *thumbs up*

Awful set up, limited options, and faulty
The router forces you to install an app to setup the router (hear me out), which of course requires you to register an online account with Linksys. I did that, then tried to log in to the router with the online account, but of course, the router isn't online yet BECAUSE I HAVEN'T BEEN ALLOWED TO SET IT UP YET. So I have to use the local log in, with the password on the router (like a normal router). Why force me to make an online account? Stupid. After the basic set up to get online (and some googling around, because the setup app has very limited options available), I find out that to access the full settings, I have to log in to the router via a web browser. Why force me to use a redundant app? Infuriating. Forces you to make an online account, forces you to download an app, neither are actually required. Then to cap it all off, the 5Ghz band disappears and never comes back. Tried factory resetting the router, restarting the router, changing all sorts of settings. There isn't even an option to hide the SSID on this model, so not that. Not to mention the setup app kept logging me in and out. Just terrible set up. Has any human ever tried to use this product? Doubt it.

Good wifi6 router
2x4 spatial. Great speed on 5ghz around 900mbps via iperf3. Price was really good at 75£. Router has eu or uk plug to choose from in the box. Mesh is good and simple. I use it via cable to make it quicker.

If only it would work!
Gone through setup a number of times and it simply will not work. The onboard setup wifi will not connect to the internet and also states the router is not connecting to the internet. I have tried everything with it, it just simply will not work. Cannot return it as I have way outside the time limit. ***************edit***************** Linksys support gave me other page details to look through regards web access to the router. I now after much fiddling got it setup. HOWEVER YOU NEED TO NOTE THAT THIS ROUTER, WELL MINE ANYWAY, HAS NOT GOT ANY WARRANTY AS IT EXPIRED (YES 3 YEARS) BEFORE PURCHASE BY 8 MONTHS! Not quite sure how Linksys are getting away with this as sold through their own ship via Amazon.

Almost wasn't a believer
Update: After less than 2 years the router has stopped performing as it should. With everything unplugged except for a decent ethernet cable from the ONT to the WAN port on this router, the Hydra Pro 6 is now running the WAN port at 10/100. My 500mbps is being tanked by this. This is the second router I've had from Linksys where it has become incredibly unreliable after such a short period of time. Very disappointed and now looking to see what's on offer from the competition. I've been using the router for a day now. Within the first few hours of plugging it in I was gutted. It didn't perform nearly as well as my old Linksys and it seemed to want to automatically handle everything which, for my scenario, it did poorly resulting in appalling speeds! So, I got int touch with customer support and they showed me 'Complete Access' (CA) mode. This was how I was used to seeing my old router and once in this I was able to separate my 2.4GHz network from my 5GHz network and specify what channels I wanted to broadcast on. I've now got all my devices connected reliably - no drops so far. On WiFi 5 devices the speeds are not quite as impressive as my last router but on WiFi 6 devices I'm getting at least as good or better. Considering the router only has two antennas I now get Wi-Fi in the garden, which I didn't with the old router (that had 4 antennas). Something to watch out for with the one I was sent is that it was technically already out of warranty. I spoke to Linksys, provided my receipt and they have validated 2 years of warranty for me. In Summary, once I'd worked out the initial kinks, I've found this to be a very well priced, far reaching, reliable router with decent speeds and a lot of future potential (ability to add additional nodes). I would recommend this product.

Great WiFi 6 router
Easy to set up and great connection speeds. Good range and easily connected to a couple of Mesh MX5500 nodes.

A, sprawa zasięgu.

A good replacement for an old antenless Linksys that just kept going and going... An easy app, a stable and a stronger signal (although not reaching far enough into the yard due to thick walls). No issues with overheating (or noise/fans) as with some other overboosted products. The LEDs are a bit bright, would appreciate a dimming option at night. Cheers.
