Best upgrade for ender 3
Awesome upgrade that gives you more ports for media to print from, allows you to print at a higher speed with the right settings, easy to install, fit well, and doesn't seem to use more wattage than the factory system. Very sturdy piece

Easy to do
Connectors were a challenge, due to small format, worked without any issues

Somehow… Magically….. All my issues were solved
Summary: Great motherboard, just make sure you have a connector for you hotend fan if installing in an ender 3 v2Review and experience:I bought this after I had kinda given up on the printer. Beforehand I had a setup where it was a Ender 3 v2 with a cr touch, dragonfly hotend, raspberry pi 4B (for klipper), orbiter v2, and dragonfly hotend. I got this on a Black Friday deal and decided to install it on my printer. I will admit setup was a bit difficult because I had to redo the configuration files in klipper and get all the driver settings correct but after that I have been tuning it and it works wonderfully. I previously had issues with my orbiter v2 with the old creality 4.2.7 board even though I had tuned the vref on it and got the multimeter out to make sure it was correct. But after switching to this board and putting in the driver settings I haven’t had an issue with it since. The only thing I didn’t like about the board is the way the hotend fan gets plugged in but that just was because I had an ender 3 v2 that didn’t have the connector on the fan already. Other than that I would give it a 11/10 because it was easy to set up, easy to use, and overall improved my printer by leaps and bounds.

If you want plug & play go Creality, otherwise this is great
While this board is compatible with the CR10 S5, there are a number of things you should know before buying* If you plan to run klipper, the TFT display is not compatible without a decent amount of additional wiring to your raspberry Pi* When running a BLTouch, the instructions are WRONG. You must attach the "sense" wire to the Z endstop plug (PC2 in Klipper). It will not work in the main IO pins. The rest of the BLTouch wires to connect to the IO slot as the instructions indicate.* You will need to put new connectors/crimps on the end of your BLTouch. One side will get swapped to Dupont connectors, the other to JST connectors.* While it supports dual Z, it uses a single stepper driver so the Z screws cannot be operated independently (You cannot do gantry leveling)* You will need to build a splice cable as there are not enough fan headers for all the fans in the CR10 S5 (You will need to make a split connector for both the fans in the controller case)* The USB & SD slots do not face the correct way in the CR10 S5. You will need to make cutouts in your case to run the USB cable. The USB card can only be accessed by opening the controller case. Now that the bad things are out of the way, here's the good.* This is INSANELY quiet. It is way quieter than my Ender 3 with the Creality brand silent board.* Tons of features and works great with Klipper.* Speed is every bit as good as the stock board (that's mostly limited by the size of the moving bed)

Nice upgrade board
I had a Ramps 1.3 board on my printer and it was noisey, inconsistant and the offline controls were cumbersome so I installed this one with touchscreen.Nice connections, clear and easy to connect. Small size, it is nice and compact so it mounts easily. I printed a case for it so I can keep a fan running for cooling.Setup and calibration is easy. With the touchscreen, it is fast and simple.Love the board, runs efficiently and stays cool. Good choice.

Mini E3 V2 NOT ready for Ender 5 Primetime.
I purchased this combo to "upgrade" my Ender 5 Pro to 32 bits and the idea of having more than one accessory (BL Touch, Filament out, etc). According to the ad copy this mb can and does work in the Ender 5. Of the four or five Ender 5 specific firmware updates available at least four are listed as having compilation errors. As advertised I tried these versions without luck. I have read where "some" users have been successful BUT not one of them states that their mb is a version 2 NOR do they state where they obtained their software. Biggest problem I experienced, aside from NOT PRINTING is the fact that when I try to home Z axis the bed moves up to meet the nozzle, stops and then just gradually falls. I can engage the Z axis limit switch and the descent will stop. Manual movement commands for each axis works properly including Z. I tried in earnest for the better part of 10 hours to be able to print even a bed level test piece but no way. I'm hoping that SOMEONE comes up with a viable firmware package but it doesn't look like the manufacturer is going to. Until then caveat emptor. I've gone back to my original configuration. This has been a waste of time and money!Edit Update:I decided to keep the touchscreen installed until a suitable firmware is available for the control board. The display worked fine in the 12864 mode, for a day or two. NOW after starting a print a few minutes later the display clears and then shows the two icons for Marlin and Touch Modes. If I select the Marlin (12864) icon the display reverts to the original Ender display, briefly, and then reverts back to the two icon screen. Selecting the Touch icon does nothing except leaves a smudge on the screen. I'm REALLY having second thoughts about this purchase and holding off on sending it back until a firmware upgrade is available. I'm leaning towards RETURN.I've deleted one star for this new problem.I also failed to mention that the header pins on the Mini 3 are not long enough to securely fasten the 3 pin connector from the BL Touch. Didn't have this problem when using the adaptor for the probe on the original Ender 5 control board.

Great board for most printers.
Originally this was for and Ender clone, but now I have this board running in a core xy machine. It’s a great board. Simple layout and lots of information available. Flashed it to klipper with no issues. Will be using these in future builds.
