I discovered this yeast at the beginning of the pandemic, when baking ingredients/supplies were in short supply. This yeast is wonderful for baking. I provides a wonderful rise and texture, and imparts a pleasant taste to bread. Highly recommended. Woroks beautifully if you make breads in a breadmaker.

Always the best yeast for me! I have been using Levure yeast since 2004. Tried most of the famous brands, but always come back to Levure yeast!!! The best yeast ever!

Absolutely the best yeast that my wife had ever used. She has always done a lot of baking, especially for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. She primarily used Fleischmann's yeast and had mixed results. She recently has begun making Hungarian dishes, which is my heritage. Many of the baked goods require yeast. She had gotten a free trial of three packages of Dr.Oetker's yeast. She used a package and a half to make traditional walnut and poppyseed rolls which was a treat that my grandmother (who came to the US from Hungary) made at Christmas and Easter every year. She was thrilled with the proof process that she received and the breads came out as good as I remember my grandmother's tasting. My wife is now looking for the store in our area to purchase Dr. Oetker's yeast.
