The media could not be loaded.  I don’t typically write reviews or if I do they’re short, but once in awhile there is a product that deserves attention, good or bad. I had no interest in a security cam until some neighbors had captured video of some creep on their property. Okay, I guess it can’t hurt. First couple weeks I thought it was a dumb idea since all I got were notifications of movement that were either my partner or the gardener. This morning there was a notification that had come in at 4:17 AM. I was ready to open a video of a tree blowing in the wind, maybe a cat running through the yard, but instead it was this creep that actually came up onto our porch for a good minute and a half, and you can see him looking in through a window at the top of the stairs. I freaked out!!! I hadn’t turned on the alarm feature for worry it would be easily set off and neighbors would gripe, but it’s going on now! When I think about this guy being right outside the French doors to my bedroom I just get chills, and the alarm would have sent him on his way. I posted the video on our community site and everyone has commented on the clarity. Neighbors with a more expensive Ring flood light said the quality was better on my cam, and several have asked for a link to the Amazon listing. I know I’m getting another one for the other side of the house. The video I included is a good example of the night vision I could only post one, but after the spotlight came on there is footage of him leaving in full color and very well lit.It turns out that a neighbor had encountered this guy earlier and called the police, but nothing much they could do with out more details. Now they have approximate age, build and height...hair style, a bandaged right hand right down to the detail on his tennis shoesAlso have to mention that the first one I received had a defect and I could not link it - the customer service could not have been nicer or faster in their response.If I could have one added feature it would be that it sends an alarm (not a notification) especially during specified hours. I’m getting notifications all day from various apps, this app is too important

Our goal was to find a easy set home security system. After unboxing the package there was not good detailed instructions. Thankfully I am tech savvy. Software was quiet easy to set up and follow. Adjusting the camera for different needs was easy to navigate in the settings. First day during daytime hours picture was wonderful. Live feed was very good as well. It only records max 20 seconds at a time.Days after its performance fell off the cliff. Video captures were lagging sometime from 3 to 5 seconds of the 20 seconds allowed. It would pick up moving logs in our wood pile. Night vision was a complete joke. We even bought extra decorative lighting to see if it would help. We could not recognize a person unless they were 5 feet or so. The charge of the cameras was suppose to last a few months however we had to charge within 2 weeks.We are very disappointed in the result we got. We posted to return this and replace it with a much better quality system which is Lorex. Our new system picked up a spider weaving down in the night time mode. In our case it was better to pay more for what we wanted then to settle for cheap quality.Update as of 5/10/21 I have received several emails from the company asking me to take my review done with a 45 gift card from paypal. I have had 5 emails from 10 all the way to 45. This is extremely unprofessional in my opinion. They sent a link to my review and a link to how to remove along with the offer of gift cards. I have notified amazon of these as well. Watch out people. If you leave a honest review and they do not like it. the bugging will begin. Best choice ever that i stand by my review and my returning the poor quality product along with the customer service afterword's. Buy at your own risk.

Full of Spyware. Took over my wireless internet and now they accessed my ss#. Buyer beware

The media could not be loaded.  This camera is exactly what I was looking for. We actually got it for safety and security of my child's treehouse. We have had abduction attempts in our neighborhood and we have had breakins to our garage. So we decided to add a little more peace of mind with a wireless camera. After I got a wifi extender for the porch, it uses that signal for the security camera. It isn't a super strong signal from across the yard, but it is enough to still work. I included screen captures of the view inside the playhouse during the day, and at night, so you can see the night vision feature. It is very clear high resolution quality. When he leaves the playhouse, we "arm" the camera motion sensor. It has a loud alarm and bright light option. You can adjust the length the alarm sound and the sensitivity level. Upon motion detecting, it sends an alert to my phone and starts recording. You can use an sd memory card for storage or purchase the monthly cloud storage subscription that has a month free trial. You can view the camera easily from the Vicoo app. You can also press on the screen to have 2 way audio. I really appreciate that feature a lot. It works like a walky talky when I need to call him in from play. The camera mounts via a very strong magnet onto the mounting bracket. We screwed in the bracket though. The charge lasts a couple weeks if you don't have the video on all the time. To charge it, there is a dust protection flap over the charging port, and you just remove the camera, charge it for a couple hours, then pop it back onto the mount. I may look into a solar charging device add on in the future, but at this time, it works great and I am thrilled with how well it functions for our family.
