I am more than satisfied with the results of using this product. I removed decals on a used Porsche that i recently bought. My guess is that the side decals had been on the car about 15 years. Using the product and following the directions included with the product, I was able to successfully remove the decals on each side of the car. The only ghost image of the decals was due to rock and road grime chips around where the decal had been. GThere was no damage to the paint or clearcoat finish. The product worked great for me. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to remove decals or stickers from cars.

Worked as advertised on my 5th wheel. The sticker on the front was cracking badly and faded. This turned it to gel and it came right off.

I finally decided it was time to take off PPF (Paint Protection Film) that had been on my 2009 vehicle since 2011. After watching a boatload of videos and researching a ton of methods I decided to give RapidTac a try. Well all I can say is I'm really glad I did. It worked great ! So here are the key points: 1) Being as how long the PPF was on it was dried out and cracking. It was on 1/2 the hood, the sideview mirrors, the headlights and around the front grill , the lower front bumper and on the fenders back to the wheel wells. A LOT TO REMOVE !! 2) I started on the mirrors first and using a steamer and the plastic razor blades (included) slowly started to take off the top film which came off in small 1 to 2 " pieces (Yikes). Sidebar: The videos you may see online that show them peelng it off in large sections is because that PPF is less that 4 years old and still has elasticity, not 14 years old. 3) Ok, now your left with the residual adhesive. (See driver side mirror picture, and middle section of hood picture) Now spray on the RapidTac , let it sit for a few minutes (instructions say 2 min. but I found you can leave it on longer) and using the razor blade again slowly start scraping off the adhesive. The remover turns it into "crystalized" white globular stuff. 4) Spray it on again and this time use a paper towel to remove the remaining adhesive. 5) Finally rinse the area thoroughly with water and finish off with some detail spray. I was nervous regarding three things in particular: A) The razor blades would scratch the paint, nope just don't press too hard and keep it level. B) The remover would damage the paint, nope again. C) The area on the hood where the PPF was removed would look a different shade vs. the long exposed area, nope again. Sooo, I really like this product and it was well worth the price and the result. The picture of the hood from left to right shows the original PPF, the initially scraped middle section and the final result on the right. The driver side mirror is scraped and the passenger mirror is the final result. >One caveat I learned was in removing it from around the grill the spray ended up staining the black plastic grill insert. resolved that by applying a black trim restorer. Tedious but it worked fine. BTW the spray DID NOT stain the headlights. Apologize for the long review but for anyone interested in removing PPF this is the way to go.

Awful. I read decent reviews of this, followed the instructions, it didn’t do a damn thing. It’s like spraying water on your old adhesive residue. I swear, a magic eraser (generic) was way more effective and it doesn’t cost $50 for a small bottle. Seriously, guys, this somehow turned my white van a shade of pee yellow. All I was trying to do was take off the mattresses from vinyl letters and I followed the instructions exactly. Don’t waste your money. Couldn’t return the product either, it’s a an absolute scam. Worst product I have purchased in recent memory.
