compatible with smart phones?

Yes, as long as your phone has Bluetooth, download the Garmin app and your away x

How many alarms (for specific times of day, not heart rate etc.) is it possible to set?

Yes you can set as many alarms for specific times of the day as you wish

Does the watch display the time constantly like a normal watch?

There are a number of ‘clock’ faces you can choose in the display options. The clock does time out and screen goes black-you can set how quickly it times out. However, all you have to do is raise your arm and the clock face reappears. Hope this helps, I am very pleased with this device as didn’t really want a smart watch.

Can this watch display duel time? Can I use it to find my phone?

Not sure about dual time, I would guess no, but yes, it can find your phone if in Bluetooth range.
