Zoo MedNano LED 5 Watt

Hard to find full spectrum bulbs that are this low in power consumption. I use them to light up some small terrariums in glass cloches. I have not experienced the reliability issues or burnout problems as others have stated. I use these bulbs in Repti Zoo 5.5" Deep Domes, which are massively overkill for this amount of power, but look and perform fantastically.

This wattage was perfect for my daughter’s frogs. We determined that what we had was too hot, but still wanted to be able to see them in their habitat.

We've had at least 3 of these in the last year for use in a fixture made by the same company. The first two burned out, each after only a few months of use. The latest one had the glue holding the front give way after a few days of use. The light itself is good when it "works", but I cannot recommend it as they simply don't last and are therefore not worth the money.

I’ve ended up with three of these over the last year. The one that came in the kit, the glue didn’t hold the bulb in. Second bulb, same thing happened. Third bulb has held up but this does not grow plants in an aquarium. The moss, which did perfectly fine when in a room with windows, has since died when being moved to a room without windows.

Really does well growing plants in a small bioactive terrarium.

Bought for a small terrarium with only plants and it’s so perfect! Plants are growing, it’s not so bright that it fries the plants and it doesn’t get very hot.

Bought the lamp in October and it died this morning. Ill order another one and see if it last longer

Ordered on June 15th lasted to August 1st waste of money. Led light should last much longer.
