I ordered the battery grip and it did not include Prime. The company however shipped it 2 day! Nice touch. Order arrived missing a piece so email was sent. Answered within 24 hours and piece to be mailed. Good customer service. This particular kit came with an IR remote, however, the instructions do not mention or show instructions. Battery was included but battery door is difficult to open without directions. Small item though. Fit is very good and material quality is excellent. rated battery life 3 star only because I have not used it enough to wear down a pair yet. Batteries paired perfectly with Nikon D3200 and show in info screen as they wear down! All in all a good deal for my money I think!

Great idea of a product. Unfortunately I cannot use both provided batteries, which cause an error message on my camera. I have to always have the original Nikon battery in it in order for it to work. Meaning I can only use one of the provided batteries at a time. If I use both of the batteries then I get an error message. Also, the battery grip itself obstructs my flip-out screen. Meaning I’m not able to move my screen around if I want to take pictures in a different angle.Update: After further review of product, seller specified that the product was originally designed for a different model camera. All issues have now been resolved thanks to seller.

While the photo and the description both show/mention the shutter button on the grip, there is no mention that it's the *only* control on the grip. This product is still useful for more comfortable shooting if you do a lot of portrait orientation (vertical) shooting, which I do, and I suppose the ability to use AA batteries to power the camera might be nice for some, but that's about all this product provides. The lack of additional controls on the grip are a huge drawback.

Reading reviews on other battery grips made me nervous that I would not find one for my D5300. This one fits perfectly, went on easily, and feels great. It has the same look and feel as the camera so it's not too obviously an add-on.I used it all day shooting at a Ren Faire with no issues.

Less than a year in , and at least one of the batteries won’t charge. My guess , it’s only seen the charger 4-5 times being that I own 2 Nikon batteries as well. Everything else is fine. If the batteries lasted much longer I’d give 5 ⭐️ ‘S

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this unit for the price that I paid. It is very versatile; Can use the extra batteries it comes with, or you can use AA's in a pinch if you forgot to charge your batteries. Makes the camera much more comfortable to hold, and gives you a shutter button in vertical mode which is nice. Very glad that I purchased this unit.

This kit for $45 is an easy choice. It is well made and a must have if you ever shoot vertical. Having two batteries and an emergency tray of four AA batteries gives your old D3200 a new breath of life.

This did the trick for my Nikon D5300 - yes it's heavier, but wow the batteries last. Took photos on one charge all day in DC. Left it on overnight, still took a full day's photos in DC the next day.
