A review
It was a really good book Iโve read it two times. the style of writing is very good to me but I dunno about you so I guess you should read it. If you donโt like my review (probably not that good anyway) no offense I donโt really like it anyway.๐

Cliff-hanger adventure throughout
Well written, paced, action packed book. Though is written for a "younger crowd" found it could/would be of interest to most any age group. Each book ends in "a cliff-hanger" like the old serials shown on Saturday afternoons at the local movie house. Except the following book in the series makes sense where those old serials showed almost impossible to believe manner in which each new chapter began.

Author Chris Bradford both entertains and inspires with new book in the BODYGUARD series
I must admit that I'm late to the party when it comes to the BODYGUARD series of books by author Chris Bradford, but this year I have made it right. The newest book in the series, RANSON, is a really cool adventure for young readers and adults. It features the series' main character Connor Reeves who is part of a special group of young people called the Guardians. Because of their age and how they are perceived they are the perfect defense organization. In the new book we see Connor take on his newest assignment featuring Pirates and all the danger that comes with a kidnapping. Will he be able to do his job in the face of what appear to be insurmountable obstacles? It's fun to see how Connor interacts with the characters and how although he has skills he realizes his own limitations. Both entertaining and filled with some great lessons about doing your best, helping others and not giving up, RANSOM is a great addition to the series.

I can't recommend Chris Bradford's books enough
As a middle school librarian, I can't recommend Chris Bradford's books enough. For reluctant readers especially, the non-stop action and engaging characters featured in Bradford's Young Samurai or Bodyguard series will suck them in. After reading, point students toward Chris Bradford's webpage where they can learn about all the things depicted in his books. He knows what he writes about! If you haven't purchased earlier books in this series, go ahead and get them all. If you have earlier books from Amazon UK, double check the editions as the U.S. editions split up the U.K. books. Thanks, Chris, for your amazing books, looking forward to more!
