Pop Bottle Science

This is a great science book set. It comes with a pop bottle that has been designed to take apart. You can easily search the internet or buy the book "pop bottle biology" for directions on how to cut your own pop bottles apart. You will want to know how because you will want to do all the activities in this book and then some. If you are doing it with a classroom it would be easy to provide pop bottles for every child or a group of children in order to make it easier for each child to do their own experiments. The ideas in this book are easy to complete and are educational and fun.Enjoy and well worth the money.

LOVE THIS! My 4 year old is staying with my mom this summer and we needed an activity for him to do that was easy, but will still promote learning. The activities are simple and short. Perfect for a preschooler/kindergartner. I even suggested this activity to the preschool he just graduated from.

Didn't actually come with the bottle so that was a little inconvenient but still has easy experiments that kids will definitely enjoy.

Amazing what all else can be used for by kid scientists…we keep this handy for repeat uses. Highly recommend.

I have a brother who is a lot younger then me. So when Christmas time came around I was thinking hard on what to get him, then this popped into my mind! I had one when I was a kid and I really like giving learning/creative mind gifts, so I went for it! My brother loves it! I dont think he's been able to use it much since he is still young (5) and needs help and my mom doesn't have the time to help him. But I do know that the one activity he was able to do he still talks about it.

Great fun for my 8 year old! Many of the experiments require a few additional kitchen ingredients, but they were common things we already had in the pantry. It kept us entertained for several cold winter days!

This kit was disappointing to me as an adult, I can't imagine how a kid would feel. It's basically a bottle shaped container with a book of DIY stuff in it, very little else included to conduct experiments, maybe like a rubber band. I didn't inspect it too thoroughly because it was a gift. I think the choice of this gift was made by a third party, so I made sure to throw in one of those 4-M Robot kits too, the tin can cable car. If you have a science kid, get them a better gift, like a chemistry set, or one of dozens of robot kits, I've purchased four from 4-M and they don't disappoint. Skip this, I do not recommend it.

I ordered this for my neice and nephews after watching a review on youtube. I think they will enjoy the book, but it didn't come in the kit even though the description said it included the bottle, measuring cup and measuring spoons. Disappointed in that.

There are plenty of innovative, affordable, and easy-to-replicate experiments in the little book inside the bottle! The book contains very clear instructions and information whether a certain experiment requires assistance from adult or is kid-friendly. A perfect beginning to your little one’s exploration to things natural to his/her environment; to observe, problem solve, and make simple inferences. I’m going to delight my Reading Rockstars with many of the S.T.E.A.M.-related activities listed here.

I had seen this in the NSLC and liked it -it gathers together alot of simple experiments and makes it user friendly-looking foreward to using it!
