Worked good for awhile but has since stopped working. The light no longer comes through the cord and it was only moved a handful of times. Not the highest quality, good if you set it up and leave it only not to ever move your entertainment system again.

Cable worked fine, I think. When connecting it directly from my device (PS3 or Apple TV) to my stereo receiver, the sound comes through just fine. However this cable will not work with a splitter. Splitter works fine, tested. Just takes a different type of optical cable to get a signal through it I guess.As far as this cable goes, it's sturdy and well built. I see no reason not to recommend it if you just need a straightforward connection and nothing else.

I don't think you can do any better for the price of this cable it works fine and connections are solid. When inserted you get a nice solid click with just the right amount of force. It appears to be very well made and is nice and flexible.

I need an optical cable to connect my Sonos Playbar. This cable worked great and was very cost effective in comparison to my local big box stores. I would recommend.

Good product at good price. It exhibits good quality from the connectors to the strong but pliable cable itself. With a 3/8" adapter I use it to connect a MacBook Pro to an audio preamp with optical input.

Works great. Looks and feels like good quality. My TV hangs on the wall and I hung my speaker high on the wall so the cats wouldn't jump on it so it was nice to be able to get a white cable that doesn't show so much against my light-colored wall.

Just received my optical cable and it feels extremely well made. Plugs fit nice and snug with no room for play. I have connected from my smart tv to my receiver for my surround sound and the audio quality is superb. Will definitely buy this again if I need another

good price and came on time unlike some other vendors! Be careful of those vendors with great prices since they don't always deliver!

When it works, the sound is good, channel separation into the the different Dolby parameters are crisp with deep bass, but like I said that's when it works.The problem seems to be with the toshlink connectors, a little bigger than expected and needs to be either forcefully pushed into the units thus causing that unit damage or damage to the connector head add to that the fact that the toshlink connector keeps falling out.So far it's damaged the port on the XboxOneSThe cable itself is thick...extremely thick so not the best in terms of flexibility in trying concealing the cable around furniture or if you have a tight space behind the TVs unit where your surround amp is.The price is competitive compared to other cables on the marketplace, but if the cable doesn't work, then it's not cost effective. Either bin it if bought and or look for another optical cable.

Purchased 2 of product only 1 worked with my equipment suspect that item that failed was on edge of manufacturing tolerance as red light was visible at other end of cable tried non working item on many differents sets of equipment with same results and so many decks cant all be wrong. Having assembled the industrial glass versions I know that you need special equipment to affect a repair. & to test for performance.

this is great. Being a bit stupid at times I spent a while trying to see if I needed to change any settings on the TV to get it to play sound through the sound system. Found it but it was not highlighted. wasted quite a bit of time doing this. I eventually found where I had put the instructions to the TV.(put in a safe place when moving some stuff about) I needed an optical cable. Thought, that sounds pricey. Found this one and bought it. came safely packed with protectors on the ends of the cable. Plugged it in. Make sure you check it's the right way up as there is a small flat part to the plug in bit. If your eyesight is a bit poor, can be tricky in the dark at the back of the TV. Have a torch handy. Same with the end that goes into the back of the Blu-ray. worked a treat, plug and play. as TV, player and sound all by same maker it picked it up automatically, when you put a disk in it reverts back to normal. Great for listening to music or films on TV. Just to prove how dim I am, first thought was, "why do you need an optical cable to play sound?"

The ones provided by Speaker manufacturer kept disconnecting and sound quality disappointing. Decided to try these and firstly they plug in securely and will not fall out, and secondly the sound coming from the speaker is a vast improvement.

Purchased this cable to replace the blue-tooth connection on my computer. The cable is connected from my computer to my hi-fi unit. It works a treat and the sound on videos is now correctly synchronised. No more out of sync voice which I had with the blue-tooth connection. The cable is sturdy and the paper insert says it has a 10 year guarantee, and to be fair, it feels like it might last that long. I'm pleased with the purchase and would probably purchase again if necessary. Recommended.
