It's not really a nail 'clipper' but more of a nail grinder. Short answer, it works! Long answer:First off, I'm a guy, and not a guy who ever gets pedicures. If your nails are really long (like a woman's) you'll want to cut them with clippers first, because grinding them down with this will take a while.Once your nails are a normal length, this will trim them down easily. Rather, grind them down. When you cut your nails with a regular nail clipper you wind up with rough little semi-circular cuts all along your nails edges. If you use this instead it grinds them down into a perfect smooth curve with no sharp edges at all. Looks and feels really nice. And it does each nail pretty quickly.There's a small trap door that opens to release the nail clippings. They're nothing like clipper cuttings, more like a fine powder. And this device is 100% safe. I've tried jamming the corners of my fingers directly into the cutting spool and it will not cut you at all. Remember you have to hold the power button in for a few seconds until the green power light comes on, then just put your finger on the round center button to activate it. It’s not an actual physical button, it’s a capacitive touch sensor.

This is the worst product i ever purchased!! It worked for about 30 seconds so i tried to recharge it and NOTHING - zip, zero, nada. I was so hoping we had found a solution so my 33 year old disabled son could take an important step i his indepenent self care. Very very disappointing. Gave it a star cause there was nothing lower.

Awesome nail trimmer! Works great, turns on by holding down the button. then it has a safety button to hold while using (easy to hold) I have MS so using regular clippers is a pain, it is so much easier using this. It clips and files at the same time.

This device works quite well. It trims my nails well and makes them so smooth too. It is convenient for when I get sharp edges on my nails. I can just smooth those edges out quite easily.The issue comes in when I am trying to trim the outer edge of my right thumbnail. In every other case this trimmer will do just fine, but on the outer edge of my right thumbnail it will just blink and stop. EVERY TIME. I don't know why. I can't see any way to make it stop failing in this one case.Even if I put any other finger or my other thumb into the exact same position, it works like normal. If there are any solutions, I would love to hear about it. This review will be a 5 Star if this issue goes away.

I really like this product. I'm a man with fingernails trimmed down close to the finger. I hated the process of fumbling around with a nail clipper and then having to file the nails. This product eliminates all that. It is easy to hold and does all the work for me. I just buzz my nails through it while watching TV or whatever and - boom - they are done. No clipping. No filing. Having said that, I think there are a few gotchas. I do not think this might be good for people with long, sculpted nails. There is only a small straight slot for the nail. It does not handle curves very well. It also does not file the nail completely smooth. Smooth enough for me with very short nails. The slot is also not big enough for really thick nails, such as my toenails. All in all, this is very convenient and useful for me.

Autism Approved. I'm autistic, and hate the sensation of clipping/filing my nails. This is quiet, easy to control, and doesn't feel rough like a nail file.I just tested it out, and it left no burrs or snag edges on my nails, and it was easy to clean.
