The pants seemed to sit on the small side for me. The description also calls them pregnancy pants, but I don't see how a pregnant woman would be able to wrap these around her like the model or diagrams shown. Yes, a person can fit in them but there is not excess fabric like the model shown. I am 5'2" and a size 14. I don't have the body type anywhere near the model in the pix. Eventhough I am short, these pants tend to also be shorter than expected, but this is due to the pants sitting on top of my hips. They sit around my ankle and I'm used to pants fitting by me heel. These pants become extremely comfortable the more you wear them. My partner is thin and they seem to fit him perfectly; to the point that I'm envious of how good he looks in them. My suggestion is that if you do not have hips and weigh 120 lbs or less, then this would be ideal and the fit would look like the pix in the listing. If you are a larger build and have hips don't be too disappointed and enjoy them. If you are a size 12 or higher, it may not be a bad idea to invest in the plus size pants.

This item is so large it us too difficult to adjust at all. It is also not full length for anyone over 5ft tall. I'm 5'6 and they reach my lower calf. Not what I expected at all unfortunately, as the picture looks much better.

I'd encourage you to check out a few videos about how to wear these pants (YouTube has several such videos) as there are multiple ways to tie them: you can fold in one side or fold over both sides at once.In the end, these pants leave LOTS AND LOTS of room, allowing for all kinds of movement and freedom. They're so comfortable!
