I bought these for my mother (she has very long, very thick hair) and they created the most beautiful, loose curls and waves! The rods are well made but the clasp does not secure the rods in place; she had to use large pins or clips to hold them securely- otherwise, they flopped down and left a gap in the curl at the scalp of about an inch. The attachment can be improved, otherwise these rods are great!

The media could not be loaded.  So I bought these forever ago. Like last year and just got around to using them today. They have been stored in air conditioning and there is nothing wrong with the bands’ strength. However they are not designed the best. As I was wrapping my client’s hair, the bands kept popping off. Both from the cap and the bottom of the rods. I spent an extra 20-30 minutes wrapping because I had to keep putting them back together. Then when my perm was processing 2 more popped and I could not get them put back together. I am literally going to just throw these away and buy them at a beauty supply. They were also really hard to close and just as hard to take off. I did a perm two days ago with white rods and had absolutely no issues. I think one popped and I fixed it and had no other problems. I rarely write bad reviews but it was just so ridiculously annoying and time consuming to work with these. It may not look so bad in the video but it’s different when your client’s hair is rolled up in it and you’re struggling to close them. I am a professional and have done hundreds of perms. I regret buying them and would give them zero stars if I could.

They do what they design to do. But they got me frustrated when the strings keep coming off the roll. After I rolled up the hair strip neatly and about to secure it, the string came off. I have at least 10 of them came off during the process. I used them and can’t return. I don’t recommend

If you pull too hard, the bands will detach from the roller, but it is really easy to reattach it!

I’ve had a couple snap on me. I was able to reconnect most but it happens *shrug. I’m using them, happy with the results so I’d recommend them

These are the worst cold wave rods ever! They made doing a roller set impossible because they continuously malfunction. Trying to close them and the rubber and fastener keeps coming undone was incredibly frustrating! I highly do NOT recommend. Find a better quality product.

Rubber keeps breaking. Worst rods ever!
