Vortex Optics Copperhead HD 10x42 Binoulars

I'm very surprised by these. They're pretty excellent. They don't have a close focus distance but where they do focus they're pretty good! Do they compare to optics that have extra low dispersion glass elements? Of course not. There is some chromatic aberration in bright light but it's VERY well controlled. The set of "Copperhead" (triumph HD) that I got easily outperforms last gen Diamondback and Leupold Mackenzie binoculars for resolution and aberration control. They're an undeniable value and "glass" like this would have cost 4-5x as much just 5 years ago.

Solid pair of binoculars at a budget-friendly price point. The optics are sharp and eyecups are adjustable. They have performed well in a variety of outdoor settings, primarily used for hunting and bird watching
