Need to purchase replacement needles for my Addi egg. Where do I purchase them

Go to ebay and search⁰ addi parts. The company is in Germany. Shipping is $10, I think. I usually buy several things I don't need, but may need in the future to offset the shipping costs. I tried to put the address on here, but it was blocked. Good luck! Oh! When they arrive, makebsure all of the needles you are using are identical and they sink below the platform, or your frustration level will become overwhelming. Judith Pace

What can you make with this?

You use this to make icord, a knitted tube. Different devices make different sizes, this machine has six hooks. As for what you can do with the icord once you’ve made it, that’s a different question. You can make appliqués with it to decorate bags or clothes or pillows, like coiled flowers with stems or whatever you can imagine. You can use it for drawstrings or put rope inside and use it for handles. You can use it as a thick yarn to crochet chunky baskets, trivets, rugs, or even hats. You can use it as edging on pockets and sleeves. You can use it to make arms for knitted stuffed animals, or tiny scarves for snowmen… to name a few ideas.

Will this machine work with worsted weight yarn?

Yes, some. Try one of the thinner ones, like Caron Simply Soft, or something that is fairly slippery. I think they'll need less "babysitting."

does this come with the egg weight?

Yes, it does. However, with some yarns, I've learned that the provided weight isn't heavy enough. I solved this by going to a hardware store and purchasing a plumb bob that is slightly heavier than the addi egg's own weight.
