Very nice model and was fun to put it together

It does include parts and decals to set it up how you want it. You could have it with the weapons bays open to show off the internal armament, or closed. You can install weapon pylons on the wings for the full "beast mode" capabilities or not for full stealth.

My Son seems to like it now that we’ve got the right glue

Bought this for my son who recently moved out. It was a gift because i know he has mastered the love & art of Legos and now I wanted to see him try something new. Especially if it briefly gets him off the video games. Haha. He loved it!

This was a Christmas gift for my grandson and he was very excited to get it, He is a huge airplane buff and this will be his first model. I also got a small kit with clippers, glue, sanding sticks and paintbrushes to assemble and finish the model, which are not included with the model, but are less than ten bucks.

This is the 2nd time I built academies f-35A. The first build went through almost flawlessly but bought 2nd after a botched paint job. What I can say is that when put together, looks great. Simple construction. Two negatives though.. I had issues with cockpit fitting together and the upper and lower fuselage as well. And maybe the decals not wanting to stick all that well. I really wish these f-35 kits came with decals or stencils to paint those gray RAM lines because I had to do those painfully by hand. Great looking model but for those reasons it's a 4/5 stars. Photos I haven't put all the decals on just yet. And I chose to build this one without armament as I have rarely seen any real pics of f-35a with external weapons attached

A caixa chegou um pouco amassada porque vocês insistem em enviar por envelope, mas o modelo parece muito preciso, detalhado e lindissimo, decalques estão ok, não devo ter trabalho em montá-lo

タミヤ(イタレリ)、ハセガワと競合作があるなかで、タミヤはちょっとモールド強調し過ぎを感じ、一方でユーザを増やすべく悩んで迷走するハセガワ製は、いくら作りやすくするって言っても、こんな抑揚のない形状の機体(失礼)のウェポンベイを開く選択肢すらないのはね、ということでこちらを購入/製作。インテークダクトとウェポンベイ裏側の繋ぎがイマイチのところはあるけれど、パイロン/武装も充分ついていて、のっぺらぼうの機体に迫力を加えることが可能。ただね、アカデミーのデカール、固いんだ。強力ソフタ使っても背面の白いデカールすら全然馴染まない。しようがないので、パネル縁部のマスキングと合わせて塗装で再現。デカールの質で仕上がりに影響出るから、ここは改善して欲しいところ(-☆)

Simpatica l’opzione delle parti già colorate per chi vuole assemblare il modello senza volerlo verniciare. Istruzioni di montaggio così così. Buone le decalcomanie. Mancano comunque quelle per evidenziare tutte le superfici in rilievo dell’aereo, come da recenti schemi di verniciatura degli f-35. Ottima l’opzione di avere i pezzi per carrelli e baie carico sia in configurazione aperta che chiusa. In questa scala il modellino è abbastanza piccolo ed in proporzione costoso. Volevo confrontarlo con l’F-22 in stessa scala. A posteriori lo riprenderei 1/48 (nota per chi inizia: i modelli jet con 2 motori sono sufficientemente grandi già in scala 1/72, quelli con motore singolo proporzionalmente più piccoli (e personalmente danno meno soddisfazione)). Questo non inficia il giudizio sul modello. Configurazione armamento in opzione beast mode, cioè con missili e bombe posizionati anche sotto le ali (questo armamento addizionale inficia la capacità stealth dell’aereo).

Also, gebaut habe ich die F-35 noch nicht. Der erste Eindruck, der entsteht, wenn man in den Kasten schaut: Die Teile sind sehr detailliert mit feinen versenkten Strukturen ausgeführt. Trockenes Zusammenstecken der Teile lässt eine sehr hohe Passgenauigkeit vermuten. Die Spritzlinge sind in 3 Farben ausgeführt, diese Idee hatte Matchbox zwar schon vor über 30 Jahren, aber hier ist die Idee sehr sinnvoll umgesetzt: Das "Innenleben" (Lufteinlasskanäle, Fahrwerks- und Waffenschacht), das im Original weiß lackiert ist, ist in weiß ausgeführt, die Aussenteile in grau und einige Teile (Reifen) passend in schwarz. Für das Modell ist hervorzuheben, dass umfangreiche Aussenlasten für alle 6 Stationen mit enthalten sind (AIM-9X Sidewinder), AIM-120 C AMRAAM, Tanks sowie GBU-32. Der Decalbogen macht auch einen sehr exakten EIndruck. So lässt sich auch ohne Kauf von Zusatzteilen ein attraktives Modell bauen. Alles in allem entsteht der Eindruck, dass sich Academy in Punkto Qualität mit diesem Bausatz noch einmal um einen Quantensprung gesteigert hat. Bin mal gespannt, was am Ende dabei rauskommt, aber das kann aufgrund anderer Projekte noch etwas dauern...
