Worked incredibly well--a great time saver to traditional pounding.
This thing is easy to install, easy to use and easy to clean. It cut the time to tenerize an entire sliced up pork loin by an hour. This one I purchased had the upgraded all steel gears instead of the plastic gears. However, the company kept the plastic washers and did not upgrade the washers to metal washers. One of the four plastic washers broke during the first use, however, the seller mailed out a replacement tenderizer the same day, and I received it the next day and returned the broken one. Although the plastic washer broke, this did not prevent the tenderizer from working. This tenderizer is so well built, it would probably work with all four plastic washer broken. The plastic washers, for me, is just a longevity issue. If they ever break in the future, I will replace the broken ones myself with stainless steel washers.

This makes cube steaks
I bought this to make cube steaks. For those of you that don’t know what these are they are thin pieces of tougher cuts of beef that are used to make chicken fried steak or Swiss steak. This attachment works well as long as you cut the meat 1/2” or less. I had no problems with wrap around and it’s important to not run the mixer too fast. I found speed 2 works the best. The point of cube steak is that it’s thin and partially ground by the teeth so you can chew it. We processed 45 lbs of meat in about 2 hours included hand slicing. This was so much easier than hand pounding with a mallet. This is not for chicken says so in multiple locations. It is for firm meat. It would do pork as well.Tips: meat will bog down if frozen even a little.I found it easier to use with the cover offI held a little tension on the steaks as I started them then grabbed the bottom to hold tension as it came through.A little learning curve to figure out the best thickness.I wish they made rollers that were flat then you could make chicken cutlets. Ideal would be two sets of rollers one set with teeth and one that were smooth just like mallets have both.Great for cube steaks do not expect it to do anything else and you will like it.Easy to clean.

Does a pretty good job
Have to put the meat threw several times. I think because the teeth are very large.

Good but caution
This thing will chew your arm off if you’re not careful. I’m impressed. This has stainless gears. Consider if you want stainless over plastic. Plastic would be forgiving if you got caught in this thing. But that safety factor comes at a cost of functionality. Treat this with respect. Very pleased with the quality.

Easy to operate and works great!
I was skeptical that a third-party made attachment would work well on my beloved KitchenAid, but I am now very glad I invested in this meat tenderizer. It’s easy to attach and operate, and it does a fantastic job of cubing meat. It’s also easy to clean. Fortunately a pack of 4 extra gears and allen wrench are included. While tenderizing a pork chop, I neglected to remove a little sliver of bone and broke one gear, but it was my fault. Two teeth snapped off one gear—entirely operator error. I used the included allen wrench and quickly replaced the gear.

Boy was I surprised!
So my husband wanted me to have this. I couldn't have cared less-didn't want another appliance type product & was pretty sure it wouldn't be well-made but boy was I wrong! How have I lived without it?! Chicken, pork, beef-it takes me 3 seconds I timed it to attach the tenderizer. I call it a cuber. It works like a charm, is very substantially made, goes in the dishwasher (I usually just wash it by hand. It does have a neat brush included). Fast clean up. It's worth the price after only a few uses because less-tender cuts (cheaper) are so easily transformed into tender ones that would have been much more expensive. Highly recommend.

Broke in literally 2 seconds of first use
Processed less than one-third of a half-inch-thick steak before one of the cheap plastic gears broke. Some fatty meat was wrapped a couple of rotations around a toothed cylinder, (likely the reason the gear broke), requiring the unit to be completely dismantled to remove the meat and allow cleaning. Dismantling required a hex-wrench, (included), and a nut driver, (not included).Meat was ruined. This is simply a mixture of poor design and poor material choice. A redesign with lubricated metal gears in a sealed compartment--to keep any metal shavings out of the meat--is the only thing that will make this gadget efficient and reliable, (not holding my breath).Purchase NOT recommended.

Works like a charm!
I make huge batches of schnitzel and freeze for future meals. I've used the manual bang with a hammer like thing and got my frustrations out...😂 and bought a hand crank tenderizer which was good for about a year and conked out. This works like a breezes and cut my time by 30-40 minutes. Attached easily and no glitches.

Money saving addition to my food budget
With prices soaring. Being able to get cheap cuts of meat. And produce schnitzel or meat roll ups with different stuffing. Makes this a big help. I use to pound by hand all meat. Now if I still pound meat abit. The intensity of work is gone. So much easier.
