What I needed 😮💨
I use this to grab my cat in case he gets in random fights with other cats outside. This prevents him from scratching me and leaving some deep scars as well as jumping out of my hands as easy when he’s in battle mode.

Cowhide for the win!
Bought these for bathing my grumpy ferocious cat. Absolutely worked as intended. Got bit once, it did not break through (still hurt). Fabric is very durable as I had his razor sharp claws sink into the gloves throughout the whole rodeo and did not get cut once!

Not easily washable but nice and thick
Dinged for not being washable, but they do help when handling the feisty animals. Remind me of the grey work gloves you buy in packs at the orange hardware store, but with sleeves. And about the same flexibility of the fingers too...but they do their job of keeping my hands safe from kitten attacks.

Great for handling animals
Got these to bathe my domesticated feral cat. Didn't need them, as he wasn't a handful. Used to remove a bat though.

the gloves have a heavy smell to them.
I did not use these gloves but they were for handling my cats who do not like to get picked up to go to the vet and bite and scratch and this was to protect us from teeth and claws. And they were the right length but the smell of leather or whatever and the stitching seemed to be coming loose from the hands to the arms and I did not want to chance the gloves ripping so that is why i sent them back.

Protection Needed…
These gloves go up to my elbows, and for my psycho cat, I need that. I have a a long haired Maine Coon, and he get matted all the time. I have to shave him when the matting get bad which he hates. The gloves mean I can, at least, do it without a visit to the ER!

good idea bad execution
Great product and is exactly as described. The only complaint I have is that I wish they were longer. I gave my cat a bath in those gloves and still managed to get my arm punctured by claws. The teeth had no effect and anywhere covered by glove was safe. I will be looking into combining the gloves with chainmail.

Don’t waste your money. I’m absolutely disappointed.
My crazy hound ripped the pinky and part of the ring finger off in a stand-off with me. He has severe separation anxiety and likes to bite when he knows I’m leaving for work. I figured some nice long heavyweight gloves would work to save my fingers and arms from being chewed. WRONG. I put the gloves on. He started his usual and regular anxiety fit. Thinking I was protected, I went to move him back from the door so that I could exit. Thats when he bit right through those two fingers and spit the parts out on the floor. Luckily I was quickly able to pull them off before my fingers were snapped off too. What an absolute joke. They may work for grooming feisty cats. But, they’re absolutely useless for an 80 lb dog with much bigger teeth. Absolute junk and their description is not true. Too bad ZERO stars isn’t an option. That’s what these deserve.
