This is an outstanding budget microphone for video production hobbyists.
It's a cute little shotgun with a compact and slim design, doesn't weigh your camera down much at all. If you're looking to put this microphone on a stand or have it handheld, I certainly recommend having a shielded TRS cable as this thing picks up everything. The included deadcat also exceeded my expectations; it eliminates wind noise well without compromising the audio quality, only attenuating very high frequency sound. Overall, this microphone is a good quality, highly portable, and cost-effective solution for general recording. It's not exactly podcast grade, but if you need something that beats your camera's integrated microphone, the VXR10 knocks it out of the park.

Great Entry Level Camera Mic
As a beginner filmmaker, I’ve been making short films with my friends and family, and I needed a reliable mic to improve my audio quality. I’ve been using this shotgun mic on my Canon 90D, and it’s been a great starting point for me. While it's definitely not professional-grade audio, especially in noisy environments, for the price, it’s a solid entry-level option. It’s easy to set up and works well for basic filming needs. The sound quality is clear enough for most of my videos, and it’s made a noticeable difference compared to using the built-in mic on the camera. For anyone just starting out and on a budget, this mic is a great way to improve your audio without breaking the bank. It’s a good balance of performance and affordability, and it’s been a great addition to my gear collection as I continue learning and growing in filmmaking!

It's okay
This is a pretty good little microphone it just doesn't put out the sound that I was hoping for from the reviews I saw but for a small little microphone it's okay

Game Footage That Actually Sounds Professional
Recording my son's games used to mean great video with terrible audio—wind noise, crowd chatter drowning everything out, commentary that sounded like it came from underwater. This Movo shotgun mic transformed that completely. The directional pickup actually isolates the action on field instead of capturing every random noise in the stadium. Wind that used to ruin recordings gets filtered out by the included deadcat windscreen. You hear the crack of the bat, his footsteps running bases, coaches calling plays—actual game moments instead of ambient stadium chaos. The shock mount prevents vibration from ruining recordings. Tournament fields aren't exactly smooth. Bleachers shake. Equipment bounces. Without isolation, your footage sounds like shaky-cam audio nightmare. With this mount, vibration stays separate from the actual microphone. Clean audio emerges even from chaotic tournament environments. The compatibility is genuinely broad. Works with my DSLR. Works with my smartphone. Works with whatever camera my wife's using to record different angles. That versatility means we're not buying separate microphones for different recording devices. One mic handles everything. The deadcat windscreen looks ridiculous—genuinely looks like you attached a dead animal to your camera—but it actually works. Wind that would've destroyed audio gets absorbed. Tournament fields get windy. This prevents audio disasters from that reality. Installation is straightforward. Shock mount attaches easily. Microphone seats securely. Deadcat slides on. Five minutes and you're ready to record. No complicated setup eating into game time. The audio quality improvement is immediately noticeable comparing recordings before and after. Game highlights actually sound like professional footage instead of amateur hour. Sharing clips with family becomes enjoyable instead of apologizing for terrible audio quality. Tournament recordings stopped being frustrating audio nightmares when this mic handled the technical side. Now we capture memories that sound as good as they look.
