KJV Large Print Ultrathin Reference Bible, British Tan LeatherTouch, Black Letter Edition

I am happy and like but in amazon you had display that it is thumb print but igot without thumb print, it is very displeased me, but BAible is good enough.

Bible is good from outside but the paper quality is not very good

This bible is the exact replacement for an existing bible I've been using for the last 20 years. Same leather cover and ISBN number - a page for page duplicate. The leather cover is a bit stiffer than I remember on my original but it will undoubtably become more supple over time. I'm delighted with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a well made, portable and easily readable bible.

Great Bible. Excellent Quality.

This is an amazing, goatskin premium bible well exceeding its cost in value. The print is exactly what I was hoping for, being a comfortable sized for pleasure reading an a nice modern font, having enough white space in between lines and letters to read for long periods of time. The outer, top, and bottom margins are large enough to write very concise notes (personal references to other passages or a notebook).It does not include the epistle dedicatory to King James or the “Translators to the Reader”, but I would encourage every bible student to just read those online. The center column reference is very well organized, orienting the points midway through the column showing which side of the text they are referring to. Sadly none of the translators footnotes have been included.There are a series of really fascinating helps in the back, though the only one I’ve looked at so far is “King’s English”.The text is self pronouncing, but not in an overbearing way and only using hyphens and apostrophes. Also, as shown in the picture, the text is black letter throughout- which I actually appreciate though I know some prefer it.All in all, this is an exceptional, premium bible for an economic cost, and I would highly recommend purchasing one!

This is an excellent Authorized King James Bible. It is a black goatskin, very soft and supple. It is smythe sewn, perimeter stitched and edge lined. All very important quality things. I have been using the brown genuine leather one with the same text block and really enjoy it. This Bible is a great size. It is very thin yet the paper is of obvious quality. The text is centered on the page and has room for references or small notes. If you love the KJB as I do you'll be very pleased as it is the Pure Cambridge Edition. The font is very readable and modern. It is an excellent font. I have the Longprimer, Schuyler and other premium Bibles but find this text to be very easy to read for long periods. It has useful helps in the back and clear maps. It is a black letter addition but the box it came in says words of Christ in red as it does in part of the description. Hopefully Holman will correct that before it causes issues. I also hope they come out with a red letter addition though that's just a personal preference. Overall this is an excellent goatskin Pure Cambridge Edition text of the KJB that will give you years of dependable and luxurious use.

Where to begin?!Ok let's start with the asthetics. It feels like a hybrid of lambskin and calfskin but a bit more durable feeling.Smythe sewn binding.Red letter edition (a comfortable dark red, about like blood).Dual color perimeter stitching (black on the outside and red on the inner cover)Standard paste down liner.Large print (which is more like a larger than normal regular print.In my pictures i show that this ultrathin KJV Bible has a few study helps the normal ultrathin KJV bible doesn't have. These extra helps sold me on this bible causing me to order a second! I didn't want indexed but those extra helps sold me.The Gold guilding seems to be painted on, but the pages don't stick together.The font is set in 2k denmark by a company in the netherlands, proofread by a company in Georgia, and printed in Korea. Yes it is in english! It is also line matched which is usually found only in the high cost premium bibles like R. L. Allan, or Schuyler.In my pictures i included a picture of a page that has all the ISBN numbers for this Bible, that way you can see and search for all the different colors and bindings yourself.The only downside I've seen to this Bible is that in the center column cross references imstead of having the scripture in bold with the references under it, there is a key wherein within the text you'll see a tiny letter within the text and you have to find that letter in the center column to see references for that scripture or portion of scripture.If they'd change the center column references to the old style, improve the guilding, and line these with leather, or a durable vinyl for the leathertouch editions these would dominate over Allan or Schuyler in every way.The paper is opaque, and has more of a matte finish which means it is easier to read because it doesn't reflect much light.
