I really wanted to be able to discount these very expensive pots as a passing fad. But when I saw commercial nurseries locally growing adult trees in them, I had to try and I'm glad that I did. Excellent root growth and perfect drainage lead to great root growth and healthy plants. And if you need to repot into a larger pot, they are a snap to undo and just lift the entire root ball out undisturbed.Other than the high price, I have two complaints. First, there are no instructions. It took trial and error to learn that there is a top to the sidewall. Unless the 1" portion without punctures is placed at the top, watering will be a chore. Plus the bottom is slightly domed and I am still unsure what side should be "up" either.Second, the blue plastic screws meant to hold the sidewall in a tube mar and distort the plastic thereby limiting the amount of times the pot can be reused. I switched to zip tying the tube together and just cut them free when I repot. The additional advantage is that the zip tie holds my plant label outside the pot since trying to place it inside is inhibited by the cones sticking into the pot.But these problems still are not enough to get me to waver from my five star rating. You have to try these. You won't be disappointed.

Root growth is definitely better on the plants in these than on my others. I did a bad mix of too-heavy soil and the seeds in these pots are kicking and the seeds in conventional pots all got waterlogged - these dried out faster so that wasn't a problem, these could be serious game changers for some people - Could also harm your plants by drying out faster than you're used toI live in Florida and they handle the full sun pretty well, even in Winter, today was 80F and 8 hrs+ direct sun.They textures interlock so you can pack them pretty tight, and since they're not graduated they're very efficient compared to traditional pots...If you try to use it just like a regular pot with no prep, you're gonna make a huge mess, just be outside when you do it.ORsimple technique to help it settle - Just fill halfway with dirt, use your hand to pack the dirt into the sides, at least most of the way down, refill with dirt, water and wherever you see too much water draining, just agitate the area a bit to help it settle, et voila., ready to use.

These pots are awesome. They add a lot of great drainage and air flow. Key attributes to propagate my plumeria cuttings and they rooted fast. The assembly was super easy and like how when it’s time to repot, I can take the pot apart so I have zero root disturbance that can stress the plant out. Saw a previous review where it’s clear the pot was not assembled correctly so don’t even consider that review. The clip is even in the wrong place. The only negative I have is on my third purchase, I didn’t receive any clips. I will have to contact the seller to get clips. I’m lucky I had extras but I hope it’s not a frequent issue because the pots are great.

Arrived in a bag that was full of holes, the pots/screws weren't wrapped in anything. I'm assuming the screws fell out but it still doesn't explain why I am missing 2 pots.

I've used airpots for some years now and I really like them. They eliminated problems I was having with sodden roots. They take some getting used to. It helps to mix up a batch of soil to a muddy consistency and pack the insides of the dimples with wet mud before filling the pot. I also like to put a patch of root barrier mesh across the bottom to stop soil being washed out and keep the roots in.Rogue Hydro are very easy to deal with. They shipped fast and my stuff came in a few days.

We bought two units of eight Air Pots per unit. Because we opened one carton, we decided to keep it and return the other. There is no information about the type of potting medium to use. Also, there are only seven pots and six fasteners.

so I purchased these airpot being a little skeptical about it I have plants that are a month older in regular 3 gallon pots the air pots have already caught up with them so the air pots really work my plants look way healthier and grow way faster really no lie 1 month younger in a 1 gallon air pot vs 1 month older in a bigger 3 gallon regular pot and they have already caught up best buy ever for your home plants I just ordered the 5 gallon air pots because I was skeptical but I wish I bought them earlier so if u love to grow plants at a fast pace look no more air pots is the way to go good job air pots

Worth the extra bucks vs buying a cheap plastic pot. Easy to put together. Screws hold it together well. Wish I had known about these sooner. Durable and make from thick HDPE ( I believe)
